While I found the historical aspects of Ho Chi Minh's travels and activism to be enlightening, I found the writing to be quite confusing and difficult to follow. I think some of the metaphors were really insightful while others felt repetitive. Overall, I am happy I read something different than I normally would.1 Carol973 8
A great and inspiring way to spend a hot afternoon. Deeply moving and with much- needed revolutionary fervor in these dispiriting times although occasionally overwritten. Shows me how ignorant I am of essential Left history. Boro274 20
