This is a lovely light read that will transport you to a quaint English town, perfect for a rainy day. The story meanders along, exploring a number of Jane Hetherington's cases and introducing us to a range of well-depicted characters. If you are looking for a thrill a minute then this probably isn't for you, but as a gentle story with great characters and places it works really well.

This was such a relief after the last book I read which was a struggle. Pandora's Box is a light and pleasant read with a charming main character, no violence, and some entertaining plotting. And the old ladies in the woolshop are a hoot.
There are a few typos near the beginning of the edition I read, but it might have been a pre-issue. Shannon48 1 follower
