Sinopsis

I JUST READ A 1000-PAGE NOVEL IN 1 AND HALF DAYS! It was insane for me. After a very long time, a novel I found that make my eyes stuck on the computer screen. Whether it is because I watched the drama first or I was just obsessed with the storyline, but I genuinely love the novel.
"Theory of love" is originally a Thai novel that was adapted as a drama. Compared to the drama, the novel was almost similar. Just a few changes were made here and there. While reading it, I can visualize each scene that I saw in the drama, so you can imagine how neat the writing is.
Techaphon Khunapakon (Third), a third-year film major student secretly loves his best friend Khunphon Kritphirom (Khai), who is a playboy and also has a policy of "no dating friends". And his playboy nature broke Third to the point that he gave up on Khai. Eventually, Khai comes to know about Third secretly loving him and realizes that he too loves Third more than a friend. And so on, he decided to pursue Third and win back him. Will Third accept Khai's feelings and believes that he is not a playboy anymore? Or does Khai have to step back as Third gave up on him? How many heartbreaks do Third need to face to have a happy life with Khai? And most importantly, can Khai really change for Third?
I really love both the novel and the drama, and highly recommend both. This novel and drama will explain to you that love is not what we always see and if one is willing to, then he/she can change for love. Although at some point you want to beat the hell out of Khai, but at one point you'll cry for him more than you'll cry for Third. And if you're willing to try this novel and drama, be prepared with a lot of tissues. Barbi89 7
I really d the story, but I don't know if I would have enjoyed this book as much if I hadn't watched the drama first. The translation is rough. There are subject/verb errors, wrong words used, etc. However, I still give props to the translators. Translating texts can be an incredibly difficult.I don't speak or read Thai, and I was happy that the translators put this out in the world, so that fans of the drama and fans of BL in general can read and enjoy this. It seems there are two translators
The beginning of the book is translated well however, the middle portion will make your head hurt. The end is also translated well. The middle part prevented me from purchasing this book. Aphrael31
