DNF @ 61%. I tried. I really, really tried. I really d the premise and hoped it would get better but unfortunately it didn’t. The writing is very amateurish. I kept thinking my Kindle was skipping pages because it felt i’d missed important details. It wasn’t my Kindle, important details were just omitted. Sweet Western

This book was really entertaining. It had two proud stoic main characters. Neither was good at communication. If it weren't for those around them they never would have made it past first base. Luckily the family love that the one never had was replaced by a family that graciously welcomed him in.
And then there were the horses, in particular the troublesome mare that brought them together. How do you measure your worth on a working ranch? By how much you can contribute, especially if you're too stubborn to accept "handouts" even if it's your beau's love language.
An age-gap romance between an established horse trainer, breeder, and boarder and a pre-vet student who found the horse he thought he'd lost forever is a very sweet read. It has all the feels. I just finished 4 of 5 books in an Aria Grace series and a couple ARCs and needed to read something relaxing by a favorite author. Fortunately I found this little gem. It was so touching! Two separate worlds but they made it work. Perry was the one brought the best in Reese. They are made for each other. Blossom is the one brought both together after 5 years. Highly recommend!! D.1,807 11
