About the Author

JEFFREY THOMAS was born in 1957, and resides in Westborough, Massachusetts. His father, mother, sister and two brothers have all been published writers. He is married (Rose), has one son (Colin), and owns one newt (Brian). Amongst those who have inspired his own work are Thomas Hardy, Yukio Mishima, H. P. Lovecraft, Clive Barker, Ray Bradbury, Anne Sexton, Kathe Koja, Jeff VanderMeer, W. H. Pugmire and his own brother Scott Thomas. He has been recommended for the Bram Stoker Award, the Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award and the Pushcart Prize, and over twenty of his pieces have received Honorable Mention in The Years Best Fantasy and Horror. In addition to his writing, Thomas is an illustrator, and the publisher behind Necropolitan Press. His stories have appeared in numerous magazines such as The Urbanite, The Silver Web and Space and Time, and in books such as The Years Best Horror Stories XXII and Quick Chills II: The Best Horror Fiction From the Specialty Press.! !
