The book itself isn't too bad, a bit slow at the beginning and a bit rushed in the end.
It has the same issues of the other books in the series with the weak world building and especially with the last three books in the series, I felt the plot wasn't as mapped out as in the first three.
As for the series in all? Well, the rating goes down drastically. While the plots of the single books are at least entertaining, the overall story arc is a mess of plot holes and poorly timed twists, the world building is too weak for a series that has to rely so much on a magical system and the romance feels more a friendship thanks to the lack of chemistry.
I don't know if this is going to be that last book in the series or if the author is gonna write more, but for me, this is where I'm gonna stop. Lisa55
