Great new series from Jack Slater

I have been reading Jack Slater’s Jason Trapp series for years, and it’s always been worth a read, but this book, and its characters, are markedly better than anything I have read from this author before.

The book starts out much Jason Bourne, with a man name Gabriel Ryker waking up in France with no recollection of who he is. While living with that and trying to rediscover himself, a team comes to kill him.

The attempt to kill him gives Ryker the first clues as to who he really is, and sets him on a journey to discover the rest, and why some very powerful people want him dead.

The book is well written, with a ton of action, and a plot, that keeps it moving. I recommend this book to any reader of action thrillers. You won’t regret reading it, and you will look forward to the next book in the series Jeff Benham1,470 7

Senator McKinney wants Gideon dead. Why is the question, but he should be an easy target. He is in a compound where French Foreign Legend soldiers go to mend. Gideon is not an easy target and we get to watch the story of his life unfold as he goes on the defensive and then starts to fight back. Excellent story! Holly151 2

riveting

This was just an amazing read. Totally captures your attention from page one until the last sentence. A brilliant story with many mamy twists and turns and a hero that you wish existed. Excellent start for new series

OMG. I could not put this book down. I almost canceled my CPR class just to keep reading it. I'm already a fan of this author, the Trapp series is one of my favorites. He really hit it out of the ball park with this one. Good story line, awesome characters. I can't wait for the next one. Jeanette D. Jensen17
