Calliope Richards saw all the signs (red flags) with her husband but couldn’t get away. She would talk to “biker neighbor guy” aka Ryder Jacobs who was just a friendly neighbor who saw the signs of abuse and wanted to help her get away from Mr. Dickhead aka her husband.

Ryder was a softy from a MC that was drawn to Callie and just wanted to protect her, help her out with starting a new life.

For the first time in five years, I had hope. I had hope that my life could be different. I was putting my trust in a complete stranger, but somehow, I had never felt more comforted or safer than with Ryder, in that moment. -Calliope

Overall, this novella is a short and sweet read. You get to swoon over all the nice things Ryder does for Callie or as he calls her by her middle name, Grace. She finds friends who become her found family.

Definitely recommend reading!
