This was the thought that trailed within Charlotte’s mind. Trying to recreate feelings for another man didn’t quite compare.

No further spoiling, but questions to tantalise.

Overall, the storyline does relate to some peoples lives. It does give you an insight to what one person/persons commit to. Life in general has many ups and downs as presented here. Not only do we follow Brady’s life but also Charlottes everyday agenda. Being a Lawyer has many turmoils. The confidentiality of clients, the trust/betrayal, demands, it is never ending and let’s not forget “Blackmail” this is always a winner for the corrupt.

A lot was thrown at both Brady and Charlotte. Lucky they had awesome friends.

Second Chance with my Off-Limits Soldier is a steamy contemporary book written by Isabel Elledge.

This was a new author for me and I usually give any author, especially ones I haven't read before, a good reading chance, which I did, but it was a struggle.

Honestly, the plot was completely unbelievable and the characters, mainly Charlotte, lacked warmth. So frankly, I found, as I turned the pages I was constantly rolling my eyes, due to both of these factors.

I tried to stay in the moment of what was happening on the page, I really did, but a green beret with a TBI still on active duty?? Missing chunks of his memory, yeah I'm sorry...and that was just the beginning of the incredulous items that kept happening in this far fetched book.

Charolette and Brady meet and haf a steamy affair. He left mysteriously and never contacted her again. Years later charolette is prosecuting the company he belongs to and sees him again. He doesn't remember her as he has a TBI. She is still attracted to him, but he is off limits since she is on opposite sides of the trial. Will they find a way around it or will she loose her job? There is danger and intrigue as she is targeted and he has to protect her.

This is Brad and Charlotte’s story.
This is a good story which has family, friendships, emotions, close proximity, turmoil, trust, second chances, twists and turns, and love, which leads to an enjoyable story.
