This latest installment of Ivy’s adventures in Ivydell took a turn for the bittersweet when some things came to light that she wasn’t expecting. There’s also lots of self-reflection, for both her and Jensen, as Ivy’s remaining time there is getting shorter and shorter. Now, I’m feeling a little desperate to discover what the author has up her sleeve for the future of this pair. And, really, all the rest of the residents of this quirky little desert community.

Bittersweet this time around!

*Yes, this is an interconnected novella series and books need to be read in order to fully understand the storyline.

Once again it's time to jump back into the craziness surrounding Ivy in her namesake temporary home at Ivydell. Be prepared there is another cliffhanger and a lot of questions by the end so the buildup for the next and last book is very much there!

Although Ivy feels the vibe is off at Ivydell and the residents are all acting odd she's excited about the festival and the arrival of her friend Zara to let these odd emotions damper her excitement. Both Ivy and Jenson are thinking about their futures and what it will mean when Ivy's time is up and needs to go back home. Ivy has the urge to become a risk taker after her time in Ivydell. Jenson is finally ready to accept he's ready to move on and do what he's meant for but wants Ivy to be a part of his future also if she's willing that is. So yes a lot of things are up in the air right now with everything and everyone in Ivydell so buckle up for more wild moments ahead.

Now let's just take a moment to talk about all the extremely spicy/romantic moments Ivy and Jenson have in this book. Yes, lots of heat inducing spice that makes you wish Jenson would pop off the page hotness! That man is what book boyfriends are made to be and why fictional men do it better lol. Yes, there are still some very funny moments that take place once again rounding out all the naughty fun Ivy & Jenson get into.

So if you're ready for revelations, laughs, and spicy moments this book brings them tenfold. Highly recommend this series because it's fun and spicy with heartfelt moments along the way. So definitely grab it and get lost in the pages with all the craziness this little nowhere town brings!
