This was an exceptional book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had everything you want in an epic fantasy. Political intrigue, fierce battles, mutants, shamans, magic, monster creatures and an endearing slow burn romance. This was the final book of the Ringdweller series and it brought everything together in a very satisfying way. I cannot recommend this highly enough. If you fantasy run and go get this book and trilogy.

I don’t even know how to write this review. I received an ARC for an honest review and in all honesty, this trilogy is amazing and needs more recognition. I didn’t the first book that much, but seeing as it is the first book in a new fantasy series that might be expected, however, I absolutely loved the second book as well as this one. Let’s get into it.

C H A R A C T E R S
We got introduced to way more characters in this book, both villains and hero’s a. Though I absolutely loved continuing exploring the main characters and seeing their development. I cannot describe how amazing they are and how much love I have for them. Their growth is truly amazing. Katsi is so amazingly strong and resilient, she keeps going and I absolutely loved her and Migo’s collective positive mindset even when things were super tough. I very much enjoyed seeing more of Hatan and the characters surrounding him, Emil and Rivar are so amazing and I nearly had a heart attack in the second book when I thought they were going to betray Migo (Brady knows what he did). I am super glad for Hatan, marrying the right woman. I knew it was going to be her and I’m so glad they had their happily ever after. I loved getting Shannon’s Pov, she gives warrior queen vibes and I’m all here for it. She’s so strong and wise as well, I really d delving into her character. Loved Scales’ character as expected, he’s so fierce yet adorable. I was so sceptical of Ris but grew to love her, she gives off Baghra from Shadow and Bone and Allysad gives off Darkling from Shadow and Bone. Truly amazing characters though and their own story’s are just so amazing.

P L O T
This book was wild ya’ll, I have no words. I was giggling one minute and then having a heart attack the next, no man, Brady knows how to freak you out. It was very well written, so descriptive I felt I was there with them. I cannot explain to you how much more exciting and scary this book if from the last two, the last two are child’s play compared to Broken Empire. Never felt this terrified for characters in my life. They were well and truly in a horrible predicament. Again, there was so much action and it was also nicely paced, it didn’t drag on, but wasn’t overwhelming either. The danger in this book is much greater than Allysad; I was constantly worried about betrayal and who to trust because yet again there was so much mystery to this book. There was yet again no dull moment in this book.
