I love Brother Hermitage and crew, and these books just keep getting better and better. This tale had all the adventure as the previous novels, a new visitor who was unique and great, as well as the usual team, but the writing is the best yet in the series. It made me laugh as always, but beyond the comedy and hijinks, the author has really made me care about these characters and that's why I keep coming back to them. I recommend the Hermitage books to all my friends who love Terry Pratchett and Monty Python because they are worthy inheritors of those traditions. George Parks86

Howard has written another great comical story of the exploits of Brother Hermitage and crew. King William, La Pedvin join in the adventure along with Mademoiselle La Pedvin as the crew tries to find the killer of a Saracen hostage murdered while under William's care. It's a fun read as Hermitage, Wat, and Cwen try to solve the crime and stay alive. Diana5 1 follower

Curious corpse
