This is book #9 in the series and I have read them all. This book caught my attention from the beginning. I d everything about this book. I enjoy Jake, Bonnie, Kelly, Tigger, and most of all Fred.
There were multiple scenarios going on: the murders and the illegal harvesting of roe. There was intrigue in trying to catch Harold and the mystique of the illegal bingo games. Then there is the drama of Bonnie and Jake too possibly losing their property to Bonnie’s sister. The ending surprised me. I didn’t think the book was going to end when it did. My kindle setting doesn’t tell me the page number ; just the chapter. So I was totally surprised when it did end. Mr. Houston, don’t take so long to give up book #10! We know that Bonnie’s sister will move in with Bonnie. Possibly Kelly and Jake will be living together. Will Jake build on his lake property or buy the home of the deceased lady. What murder will Jake, Bonnie and Fred get into next? Shari 205 1 follower

A Taste To Die For

This book was not near as well written as the ones written before. The story was hard to follow and details were written Willy - Nilly. I
was very disappointed in this book.

Characters are very believable and heartwarming.
