Gathering together these vile, sinful, gag-inducing stories was a brilliant idea of Hitz's, since now you can enjoy Custer Falls depravity in one huge dose, and hope you better survive the experience! In this volume, Custer Falls is a nice little horror town, a place to visit and exchange your dreams for some sex-fueled nasty nightmares you don't want to share with your friends - or, indeed, anyone! Having read these stories as they were being published, I'll restrict myself to a few words, but expand a bit on the last story which is NEW! It all starts with "Larval Seeds," which is as sick as it sounds; obviously, this is a story about bugs, though it’s far more than that: it’s a short masterpiece of body horror, family terror, supernatural gore, and teenager love. There follows "Stay Out of the Tub," a story about, well, yeah, a possessed old tub: combining standard horror tropes (here: of possession and cursed objects) with extreme horror themes (here: brutal sex and gory appetites), it promises the vilest of endings, and, oh boy, does it deliver! Third is "You're Going to Die in Here": there's blood, sweat, and juices of all kinds; but also sex-driven geriatric horror, creepy crawlies, demons, that cursed tub again, mandibles, kinky marital sex, ghosts, crucifixion, depravity, and... so... much... pain! OK, you get the picture. And then there's the perfect splatterpunk Christmas holiday tale, "Santa Vs. Satan": the visuals in this story are STUNNING! The demons, the hellish and sinful situations, the body horror, the battles (yes, there is an epic battle narrated in terrific cinematic prose!), the rituals, the monsters – whether you extreme horror or not, in Hitz’s tale you’re going to find what demonic, supernatural evil, if it exists, really means: any portrayal of demons after that will seem utterly artless and simplistic in comparison! Last but not least, the new short story, "Boxing Day Surprise," focuses on the female officer from "You're Going to Die in Here" and gives us a glimpse into what happened to her after the end of that story. This is a tamer tale by far, but reveals an aspect of the stories not seen before: there's a plan here, and -yes!- more stories of this ilk on the horizon! So hold tight and keep an eye on Hitz: he's not finished with Custer Falls depravity yet!5 s Angel MedinaAuthor 12 books82

I read the first four books already and loved them, so why not re-read them again, hehe. However, the big ticket item was the exclusive short story, Boxing Day Surprise. I have to say this short story was well worth getting the omnibus for. It was disgusting, bloody, and horrid, in a good way of course. Poor Wanda goes through hell, trying to get a baby out of her body, an evil one at that. It was quite the ride for a short story.

The best part is that the story leaves room for a continuation. Not sure if D.W. intends to continue the story, but I hope he does. I need to know what happens to Wanda, damnit!

Overall, this is a great omnibus for those who extreme horror. Thank you D.W. for this awesome series. Can't wait to see what you have next.extreme-horror horror3 s Chris Hookway38 1 follower

The Custer Falls Extreme Omnibus by D. W. Hitz

Custer Falls…evil’s playground.
Custer Falls… You go to Castle Rock and Derry for vacation because it’s calmer and safer.
Custer Falls… Move to Chernobyl, it’s better for your health.

YOU SHOULD NOT READ THIS you have been warned. The opening to the book will almost compel you to proceed on this horrific journey just out of pure morbid curiosity. This is a deep dive into depravity, gore and insanity.

LARVAL SEEDS:
The first entry is one that will make your skin crawl. From the get go this one makes your stomach turn, if you don’t have a strong one. Hitz’s descriptions help you practically taste the vileness. This is a story about change, literally, changing into something not human. But also finding yourself… sort of.

STAY OUT OF THE TUB:
The second entry is practically a Skinamax movie directed by John Carpenter.
This one starts fast and gruesomely, and goes way downhill from there.
All revolving aground the eponymous tub and the entity that inhabits it. This one has wanton debauchery, a Lovecraftian phallus, demon sex resulting in pregnancy and cannibalism. The resulting birth bringing even more horror down on the family
Spoiler: it ends VERY poorly for the whole family

YOU’RE GOING TO DIE IN HERE:
A tragic fall forces an elderly woman not ready to give up her home to share it with strangers, her now live in caregivers.
A home where a third floor room just feels.. off.. wrong… evil.
This place may be the most insane haunted house gate to hell you’ll ever find.
Throw in some human sacrifice, rough sex, reanimated corpses and metamorphosis and this one takes you on a crazy roller coaster ride.
After getting through the utterly insane ending you may very well need a hot shower.

SANTA vs. SATAN
The anticipation of the perfect gift is palatable for our little 10 yr old Danny. What he doesn’t know is how different and utterly crazy this Christmas will be.
After introducing us to a cast of deplorable characters, Hitz goes on to completely ruin Mr. and Mrs. Claus in a spectacular manner. After reading this you will never look at Father Christmas the same again.
This one goes from enacting the most original summoning ritual I’ve ever read, to neighbors that should have kept to themselves, to one of the nastiest craziest orgies ever. Really, the further into the story the nastier it gets, with a complete nosedive into depravity.
This story is vile, twisted, gory as hell, perverse and just plain batshit crazy: basically everything you would want out of an extreme horror story.
This is probably my favorite of the anthology, though I loved the whole twisted mind screwing throughout this entire book.

BOXING DAY SURPRISE
A couple months after You’re Going To Die Here, one of the survivors is drawn back to the scene of that story. For her trouble she is attacked and violated. But she does manage to get a little payback for all she was put through, and what happened to others there.

Overall, I will say that for fans of the insane, perverted, depraved and not easily squeamish, looking for a whirlwind of a ride that will leave you saying WTF over and over, I highly recommend this one. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Thank you, D. W. Hitz

This is a collection of five extreme horror stories that are standalone. The theme main theme in all five stories is to unnerved the reader to the point of needing a shower to feel well again. Some may cause you to need a bucket close by and then brush your teeth. The stories are full of creepy crawlers burrowing in and out of several characters' bodies. One will make you start taking showers, possibly with the door open for a quick getaway. That one I Double Dog Dare You to Read in the Tub. This collection has more Spicer than Gore. It's a what am I reading written very well

The Custer Falls Horror Omnibus is jam packed with the extreme. I absolutely loved every one of the stories! I had never ventured into Custer Falls before, but thankfully made it through unscathed. D.W. Hitz does a wonderful job crafting each story. Some made my skin crawl, other my stomach churn. An overall great collection!1 Ian GielenAuthor 12 books49

A collection of 4 novellas with a bonus short story, this omnibus is a must have for extreme horror fans. Set in the town of Custer Falls, each novella is packed with vivid detail to make your stomach crawl, my favourites being Larval Seeds and Stay Out Of The Tub, the others are fantastic too.
I dearly hope there is more vile, disgusting stories to come out of Custer Falls as I'm now very much hooked.1 1 comment Michelle71 10
