A great and fun second book in the series which takes up where the first book left off. More is explained and we get to see even more of the personalities of the characters, both main and subordinate. What fun. We find the producers of the Kitchen Witch Wars series more concerned with the ratings than what is actually going on. They love the bickering between two of the judges who used to be married to each other, the sour personality of the third judge and the fighting for the win between the chefs with backbiting and more! Are the contestants trying to kill each other off? Christelle is called upon once again to solve murder and keep the show on track as she learns more and more about her magical abilities from her companion, Mrs. Mogridge. Can she save the show and find a murderer before there are more calamities on the set and is she in danger as well? Once you begin this second book of the series, you are taken right through to the end. You can't put it down. I really this series and can't wait to see what happens next!
