Sinopsis

Faith kept me Plain. Science made me complicated.Book 3 in the Grounded Trilogy
Now that I'm a special agent for the rebellion, I can't hide what I am anymore. I'm a Spark, genetically engineered to be electrokinetic. Along with my boyfriend Korwin, I am also the Liberty Party's best hope of stopping Dr. Konrad and the Green Republic from developing a new generation of biological weapons.
When our mission to destroy Dr. Konrad's work goes awry, the side effects of a brain-altering chemical in my system become problematic. It's more important than ever that I protect the people I love. But the more I try to help, the more I seem cursed to hurt everyone around me.

Usually, by the time the last book in a series or trilogy rolls out some of the steam from previous installments has begun to fizzle. Not so here. Even with Lydia spending half the book coming to terms with what she's actually become and the rest agonizing over what to do about it, I found there was enough action to keep me reading. The happy ending, even though she has lost her "spark," is just as described - full circle. She's gained & regained family and friends and I think she's more relieved than anything else. Although her world will never be normal again, it seems she relishes returning to her roots...and as a wife & mother no less. Sarah Kessler240

I couldn’t put the book down and started this one right after book 2. I will be so tired today!

I loved the story and how everything wrapped up. If you’re looking for a romance story where the guy considers the girl his equal and encourages her to be herself and challenges her when she does something wrong, you’ll this book. If you to watch the main characters grow and mature, not keep making the same mistakes over and over, but learning from them, you’ll this book.

Action packed conclusion!

This story delivered. Almost better than the other two. I just love it when a series end with a bang. Highly recommend this dystopian world. Love all the characters. Love all the action. Nothing disappointed. The novel came full circle in a way that left me highly satisfied. Patricia Meyers363 1 follower

A great read

This is a great way to end the trilogy! The reader gets a peek at the good and not so good technological advancements of society i to see how the modern society meshes with the Amish society. Enjoy!!! Christina Blake799 2

Brilliant

I absolutely loved this trilogy, the story got better with each book. This was a trip into a futuristic word, full of danger, intrigue, and if course, love.
I will definitely look out for more books by this author. Breanne Chapman7

Great read

With the world today, this violence was not far-fetched at all. We don't know what will bring us, but if we always have God, family, and love, we can accomplish anything. Jana Lanham41

Great series ender! I loved this unique and exciting series. dystopian Becky Spence12

Great

Really enjoyed the book. Wish there was another. Don't want to write too much and spoil the book for anyone. Roger Bundridge145 15

Great Finale!

A great finale to the trilogy with several surprises that kept me from setting down the book until I finished. Nina233

Good read. Creative storyline.

For my clean readers: some language-no f-bomb. Violence-murder, torture, assault, war violence. Romance-kissing. Drug abuse. Patricia F Ratcliff2

Soul satisfying.

This story caught my interest from the first paragraph, and I lost a lot of sleep reading through the nights. It had everything from drama, to mystery, to suspense, action and romance. Thomas Christian82 2

Only one review for the Trilogy. I was surprised with all the action, frustrated that it took so long to end the troubles. Guess that is why it is a trilogy. The characters were enjoyable and subplots numerous. Enjoy. Richard Fair11

Grounded in This Great Series

The Grounded series is another triumph for G. P. Chang. Her ability to take a fictitious idea of a future society and keep the reader's attention so expertly is a testimony to quality of her writing and storytelling. Chang is primarily a young person's author, but she had this older adult completely enthralled. I got the first book as one of those free deals and found the plot and writing style so intriguing that I had to purchase the other two books (I guess those free deals work). If you have a teenager or young adult in your family, I highly suggest that you recommend this series to them. It wouldn't hurt to buy the series for yourself as well. Merredith1,021 22

This was the last book in the trilogy. I enjoyed it, but it wasn’t my favorite. I didn’t what happened to Lydia, I was disappointed. I did, however, the very ending, where everyone ends up. It could even get a follow-up book, maybe fifteen years down the line (in their time, not ours!). There was plenty of action, some original ideas, great trilogy. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.4-or-5-stars dystopian other-supernatural ...more Jodi WoodyAuthor 13 books54

"Wired" is the last book in the "Grounded" trilogy. It ends with a bang. I loved the whole series, nothing about the second or third book disappointed at all. Great dystopian writing with a twist as the main character was raised Amish, and in the midst of a world turned upside down, she struggles with her faith. I give this one five stars. There is violence, including torture, and this one has implied sexual content, between married adults, and no swearing. I can recommend for ages 16 and up. Rachel Gurr9

This book was the third in the amazing series and I loved each of them. I had no idea how he book was going to finish and I really hate it when the ending lets down the whole book, but this ending and the whole story leading up to the ending was absolutely amazing. I wouldn't change a single thing Jamie Teixeira191 6

Great finish

This third book was jammed pack full of action and lots of surprises. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and boy do I love a happy ending. I wish Lydia didn't have to lose something to gain something but in the end it was worth it. Angela8

I loved this trilogy.

I really enjoy books riddled with new concepts and a changed world from our own. This book series was highly addictive with its constant action. Great story. A must read. Would love to see it made Into a movie someday. Miranda357 5

A decent wrap up of this trilogy. I wasn't thrilled with the playing out of all events, especially those that had been foreshadowed since the beginning, but it was an interesting story that would be fine for mid-teenaged readers. Moderately clean, creative series.science-fiction Cat1,270 9

A fitting end.

This really struck a cord with me since I just had a baby, but I'm not really sure Lydia would actually feel that way. I d the various resolutions, though I was saddened by the death of a character and didn't think it got enjoy attention. Luisa523 28

Crazy stuff happening! Read this in a day it was non stop action :) A good ending to a fun trilogy. I G P Ching's books and this wasn't an exception. Crazy dystopian world meets an extremely religious and conservative society. Different idea, very interesting and well written. :) Anna D64 2

Amazing series!

I loved how Ching wrote the book. It was very creative and auctioned!! At some moments, I was literally gripping on trying to get passed the awesome parts!! I loved the characters and how it was based on a girl who was raised Amish!! Really enjoyable book!! Elizabeth Gertsch232 2

Awesome trilogy

From the very first page of book 1 I could not stop reading. A mix of amish with a futuristic world what a great trilogy. I wish that there was a fourth and fifth. Enjoyed every page. Good job GP Ching. MaryAnn Edwards2

I chose this series because I had read other offerings by this author which were spellbinding.

The author delivered with this new series, a wonderfully formed circle of characters, setting, plot, and climax. YM15
