I bought this last Sunday as I enjoyed the first 2 in the series and I raced through it.

This is definitely the best book of the series so far. At the start of another academic year all is not normal at the Swan Academy as there are paparazzi everywhere and mysterious threatening phone calls. It is announced that the Wood twins who are famous movie stars are coming to the Swan and will be starring in a new production of Peter Pan, The trouble is that they are full of themselves and not used to working hard....

I loved this. The way Olivia develops as well as Katie. The story line was great and the little plot twists worked very well. I couldn't stop reading it and it gave me hope.

An excellent 3rd book in the series which focuses on being kind and honest. I will probably have to buy the next one soon. childrens1 Jas K104 2

After taking a break from the Stage School series (which was both unplanned and unwilling, but also, in retrospect, rather refreshing), I plunged right back into the world of the Swan Academy, and it felt coming back home after a long time away. Olivia is just as compelling a protagonist as ever, Eel is back in her usual role as both a comedic relief character and a crucial agent within the plot, and the whole cast of characters feels old friends I'm seeing again after a long time. But Cosi is definitely my favourite out of the new additions in this book. Her character development practically turns her initial characterisation on its head, and I'm all in for it. There were also a number of character pairs who, as strange as it might seem at first, turn out to be more a than they come across as at first glance. Nothing less than 5/5* for this brilliant little book. 2021-reads e-books origin-british ...more Alex Green55

This was my absolute favourite book series as a child, and I reread this after lending the first 2 to a friend after telling her about it, despite us both being quite over the demographic now! Full of nostalgia and written by theatre expert Lyn Gardner, this book series is a joy for any child (or adult!) who love the stage. Still just as engaging and magic as ever, I’ll always have a soft spot for this series. Sean Harding4,027 28

Book three of the Stage School series sees more of the same, but it is an engaging series and the plots whilst a little bit of cliche and old hat have got something which does draw you to them, and the characters are interesting. Yvette368 6

This is a nice book for a young reading. Lessons of being yourself, integrity and friendship and weaves throughout. el231
