Seriously?!

I was so excited for this book, especially after the first two and I am honestly so disappointed in this third book. It came off as very rushed, and then you still don’t get a conclusion as we have to wait for the final book to come out this summer. The author should have put books 3 and 4 together. 8 s Caroline | BooktokEnthusiast360 99

Meh most of the kings weren't even in this book. The trials that Ellelin had to do were all a little too easy imo. The random chapters in Arty and Hope's POVs were weird, random, unnecessary, and forced. It's clear that they're both being given love interests, but I could not care less.

I honestly don't remember anything about Grayson and Emrys from the previous books. Not much happened in this book tbh. It felt the same thing happened in every chapter. Decent cliffhanger I guess, but idk if I care enough to continue this series. 6 s Spasticnontastic333 51

This is book 3 in the Dragon Crown Series, and you will not be disappointed. It is non-stop action from the get-go.

We meet up with Ellelin as she goes back to Ayiolin to save her Kings from their foolish sacrifice to Ares and Aphrodite.

Taking back your Kingdom is never an easy feat as Ellelin will have to go through more trials to get her Kings back and take over the Spirit Court. This book had so many twists and turns that will keep you guessing the outcome.

I love the growth we saw seeing with the characters and Ellelin finding and owning her powers and her strength shining through. To prove that she is not some damsel in distress. Also accepting her feelings for her mates.

The ending leaves you with one heck of a doozy that makes u sit there fearing for one of the characters. I can't wait for the next one.1 Tammy1,356 40

Each trial seemed a bit rushed but got their points across. I still gave a 4 because I love the characters.1 Lila365

Meh. I’m over the idea of the trials, and most of these felt too easy.

There were also many things that didn’t make sense to me. For example, Elle makes this deal with Aphrodite that none of the kings will be harmed, however, several of them are during the trials. Shouldn’t that trigger some sort of escape clause? I thought it was [unexpectedly] clever of Elle to request that, but then nothing comes out of it
