Short, Christmas read with insta love. Virgin story but I appreciate that it wasn’t the cringe worthy virgin stories you normally see. Loved all the bakery innuendos and enjoyed the few spicy scenes. 1 Sara928 2 Read

Not good

This one was a big mess. I knew it was a short story going into it but the only way I can truly explain how it felt to read this is if you think of a low budget movie with bad actors. That is what it felt to read it, the story itself was awful and the characters very surface level.1 Rebecca Grove3,491 22

Rainer enjoys working for his family's dairy. However with the holidays coming up, he is feeling lonely. His dad says having some he loves waiting for him at home makes everything worth it. Rainer envies his dad and wishes to find his one. Wanting to pick up some beer for the holidays, he stops by the grocery store on the way home. He runs across a beautiful young woman sitting on the floor cradling a sack of sugar in her arms and crying her eyes out. Rainer does his best to help her feel better and ends up going home with her to help her decorate her cookies.

Sugar is heartbroken and feels betrayed. A mysterious uncle had died leaving her a large inherentence in his will. Sugar planned to use the money to fund her dream of opening a bakery. However her mother took all the money out of their joint account to buy a villa in Italy without talking to Sugar. She finds herself crying in the grocery store after talking to her mother who put her dream down. Then a strange handsome man came by to comfort her. Rainer offers to help her decorate the cookies she was planning on making. He believes in her and her dream. Sugar has another dream she wants to come true. She has never found the man she felt comfortable giving her v-card too. With Rainer, she feels confident enough to request the he ice her cookies in more ways than one.

This is book number 11 of the The Mountain Men of Linesworth series and focuses on Rainier and Sugar. Rainier is a hard working family man who helps run his family’s dairy farm, the Crumble Dairy Farm. He has been wanting to finally find his special someone to settle down with and start a family of his own. He doesn’t expect to find his perfect person in the grocery store but he knows from the first look that he has found her. It doesn’t take Sugar long to fall for Rainier just as hard as he fell for her but she is clouded with doubt because of her mom’s recent betrayal. It takes Rainier a little bit of effort to convince her to take a chance at forever with him but thankfully Rainier is used to hard work and isn’t afraid to put in the work to prove to his woman that they are perfect together. This was a great story and a great addition to the series!

When he enters the local supermarket, he sees a girl crying over the loss and betrayal her mother did to her. Her dreams seems to be shattered, but new ones are around the corner. She wants a fling, he has his mind set on more and is very persuading.
Rainier Crumble and Sugar Staple are as sweet and over the top as their names and fast paced. For being a virgin Sugar after the rough day she had, asks for what she wants without beating around the bush.

In this book we get Sugar Staple & Rainier Crumble. While walking in the grocery store to find Sugar crying on the floor while holding a bag of sugar. Rainier can only think he wants to make it better. Little did he know this one woman would change his life. Sugar can't believe that her mother has taken all of her inheritance money. She also doesn't understand why this man is being so kind to her. Can these two find a HEA or will there be other reasons for them not to be together?
