A great book I recommend to everyone. It is a sweet story about a woman and her son who move to a small town to escape the gossip regarding an accident they were in, that resulted in the death of her abusive husband. She had to make a choice of saving her young son or her husband, she could not save both. The community just kept blaming her. She suffers from nightmares resulting from the accident in which her son blames her for the death of his father. When she reaches their new home the town doctor who lives across the street from their new home walks across the street and introduces himself. Dr. Gabriel Ferguson is intrigued by Hope and her son David. He wonders why she is reluctant to meet and make new friends, he is interested in her and her son and pursues a relationship with her and her son. David is drawn to Gabriel because he is a doctor. When Gabriel asked David if he would to sing in the church choir he is over joyed and begged his mother to sing with the other kids. Gabriel successfully developed a relationship with Hope. One day when David is practicing with the choir Gabriel takes Hope for a boat ride. During the practice David falls off choir platform in church striking his head and is knocked unconscious. He taken to the hospital and Gabriel and Hope are found and told about the accident. Hope immediately blamed herself for the accident and condition of her son. No one can convince her otherwise. Hope has no faith in God due to her experiences in her hard life. Gabriel and other doctors worked hard on providing the care that David needs to regain consciousness but are unsuccessful. The community prays for David but his remains the same. It’s only when Hope finds the necessary faith and begs God to restore her son to her that David regains consciousness. A very touching story. Clean and Christian read, about a second chance, unconditional love of God, forgiveness, and redemption.
This a reminder that no matter what happens and how awful the situation is we aren't alone, God is always there, ready for us, to hold us, love us, forgive us, and give us the strength to continue and do the right things ?? Our God is awesome.
Enjoy the story of Hope and her son David, and how a great man, Dr Gabriel, truly cares for them and shows them respect and love in the most tough times.

Gabriel is a doctor who has seen deep pain before and that is why he recognizes it in Hope’s eyes.
This is a story about finding hope in difficult times when everything seems lost. A story about reconnecting with God and His unique aid.
I d how compassionate the people in Willowbrook were and how they came together to help praying or people in need.
This was a very emotional read and you will need a box of tissues, but it is worth reading.
