Out of the frying pan and into the fire...or into the wolves den as you would have it.



In this one Sunday is living on a swanky compound surrounded by enemies as she waits until her first full moon to run with the Soldier pack- all the while trying to figure out how to stop her transformation and discover the pack's dastardly secrets.

All of this is going on though while Conal is set on playing potential fake mates/ flirting up a storm every chance he gets.

So yeah, the mains grew on me but I didn't Conal's insistence that Sunday didn't know her own feelings and would eventually love being a wolf and the inevitability of it all. And not telling her about the silver...or the phone tracking...or not really being up in arms about the stone magic and still singing the Soilder praise after how obviously corrupt they were.

Maybe this is just a strange comparison so ignore me if its too heavy handed- but it felt those guys who will say 'okay I understand' when you explain your sure you don't want kids in the future, all the while thinking you'll change your mind one day if he's patient and that he knows better than you do. Sigh tmi maybe.

But I guess it did work out for him, because despite her desires she ended up being pack leader for the wolves. and I also really enjoyed the chaos of all the side characters!

Also again with the last book I might have end the series here--but that ending!! mom might not be dead? I think I'll have to look out for the next one.fantasy kindle-unlimited no-next-book-yet ...more3 s Maghon Thomas1,500 1 follower

I’m obsessed!!

I seriously really this little series and I’m over the moon that things will continue! That little cliffhanger shocked me out of my seat! This book is a lot. The isolation and the hatred from prejudice. But boy oh boy did it go out with a boom!!! And now it seems everyone is wide eyed and willing to learn some new tricks! Wow!!! Cora P. Ellis7

Best series ever!

This series is full of humor and excitement with no foul language or sleazy porn! This is a huge thing for my family of book lovers! The storyline is fresh and brilliant with plenty of snark , romance and adventure. The characters are lovable except for the ones you love to hate, and even they are mostly redeemable! Ashley Hogue9
