Drew is an enjoyable and engaging romance about two opposites finding love against all odds. Their story reads a rollercoaster of funny, entertaining episodes laced with attraction, insecurities, and developing feelings. It is an enticing and captivating narrative that keeps the reader’s attention. Despite a straightforward plot, it is a refreshing and entertaining story about two opposites: Drew, a middle-aged rockstar hiding his inner small-town boy mentality, recovering after a messy breakup, and Taylor, a younger, socially reclusive small-town florist. The sparks are flying between the two immediately after their first meeting. Based on their breakups with previous partners, they are both reluctant to venture into their attraction, fearing heartbreak and disappointment.
It is an enjoyable and sparkling experience following them on their path of overcoming insecurities and misunderstandings to surrender to their unavoidable destiny and acknowledge that they are falling for each other deeply and quickly. The characters are easy to love and developed enough to relate to and understand their emotions and decisions.
What to expect: An easy-to-read, straightforward plot, engaging and eloquently written, heartwarming romance, captivating and entertaining without overwhelming emotions.
What not to expect: A dark drama with high angst, suspense, complex emotions, and sensitive and challenging issues.

This book made my heart sing
Taylor had moved to Jasper Springs after breaking up with his boyfriend. He wanted a new start, and to make his dream of owning his own flower shop come true. Which he succeeded in. He also made some really good friends and was happy, but sometimes lonely. When his friend G gets him to go out with her to see the famous Drew Axel perform, he found himself lost in Drews eyes while he sang.
Drew decided to come home to Jasper Springs. The band had decided to concentrate on their solo careers, and it was also a perfect time to get away from his lying cheating ex. Who he caught in bed with another man. He was playing performances in small venues. That night he decided to zone in on a sexy man in the crowd, and he totally got lost. What was even better was, he was sat with a friend that he went to school with. Giselle. But it looks Taylor is not bowled over by the rock star.
What would happen when Drew invited Gisele Julie and Taylor back to the band bus?? Could this be the start of something beautiful?? I’ve got to say I thoroughly enjoyed this book I really d seeing the real Drew behind the rockstar. And the connection he felt with Taylor. A really good read. I am super loving this series.

"Drew" by Eve Riley is a captivating addition to the Jason Springs series that had me hooked from the start. Having read the previous books in the series, I was eager to dive into this one, and it exceeded all my expectations.

The story follows Taylor, a florist with a broken heart from years past, and Drew, a rockstar whose tough exterior hides a vulnerable core. The writer beautifully and deeply develops both characters, making them relatable and drawing me in with their emotional depth and authenticity.

What stood out to me most was the poignant exploration of love and heartbreak woven throughout the narrative. Riley masterfully balances the tender moments with the more intense emotions, keeping me engaged until the very end.

The writer expertly crafted the dynamics between Taylor and Drew, allowing their relationship to develop naturally. I appreciated both characters stayed true to their dreams, which added a realistic touch to their romance.

Overall, "Drew" is a heartwarming and nostalgic tale of love, self-discovery, and the importance of staying true to oneself. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy small-town romance with depth and charm. DJ McCready330 6

This is the third book in this series with all new characters. The story is simple. Rockstar Axel returns to his hometown where one of his former classmates drags a introvert florist to the performance. Taylor, the florist has guarded his heart since his high school sweetheart went off to find fame which makes Taylor extra cautious about even meeting the Rockstar.

Eventually, because Axel's schedule changes he is around longer than expected. Taylor gets to show off his vocal abilities in a karaoke and a night together changes things. Axel wants to get out of the limelight and settle down while Taylor finds a mutual love for Swift songs and provides a home base for Axel in his home town - the book ends with Axel taking three months off from travel to be with Taylor.

This book is a quick read - does not warrant 5 stars as there is nothing exceptional but it is a good fun read if you just want to get lost for a few hours.

This book features two men meeting up in Jasper Springs when Drew, a rock star visiting his home town while his band is on break, meets Taylor, a mutual friend of an old high school friend and the town’s florist. Drew has recently had a very public breakup from his year long relationship, and Taylor is still very damaged by his breakup seven years ago. Both seem to think no one would really want the “real me”, and a very wary of any commitment or more than a vacation hookup. But the physical attraction is strong, and the emotional attraction soon follows, leading them to hope for more, all with Taylor Swift songs in the background.

Relatable, realistic characters with realistic reactions given their past experiences. Good world building with the small town atmosphere. An enjoyable read in the Jasper Springs universe.

Drew is a rock star and has decided to move back to his small hometown and begin to heal from a rough breakup. Taylor lives in said small town and is a florist. These two wind up hungover and together in Drew's tour bus. What happens now? Well, there is some angst due to how popular Drew and his ex are and Taylor has some issues from his past as well. I how this book shows the side of our rock star that is vulnerable and not as sure of himself in "real" life as he is on stage. It also shows our florist as being stronger and working on being able to open up to his new "friend", Drew. Read along to this next book in the series and fall in love with both of these young men as they work towards each other.

Drew had a very public split from his actor lover that TMZ showed Roger throwing out Drew’s clothes. Drew was a rock star his band was taking time off so after 20 years him and his manager moved back to his hometown and began preforming in different bars. Giselle talked Taylor into going to a bar that Drew was singing at and was a good friend of Drew too from school. Taylor met her when he bought the florist shop and moved there and wasn’t sure if he wanted anything to do with Drew as his ex left him behind and was in a band. Giselle and Julia made Taylor go to another concert so Drew sang to him, Drew made him believe that they could have a long distance relationship when he had to go on the road especially since Roger wanted him back. Good book! Emilyrose517 1 follower

I'm giving this 3 stars because I really d Drew as a character; I wanted to know more about his career and friends and I thought he was a good mix of sweet, surprisingly down to earth and charismatic. Sadly, I didn't really gel with Taylor though. I thought there was a lot of potential there and I could see the local boy - rockstar vibes ripe for the taking. However, for me Taylor was far too prickly for far too long. Drew hadn't even done anything to warrant it so it just made Taylor seem a giant you know what. They did have some explosive chemistry though which was good to read. I said, I loved Drew so I did enjoy parts of the story but the romance here just wasn't my favourite.

I loved Drew: An MM Bad Boy Rockstar Romance Book 3 of Jasper Springs. Drew Axel returned home for the first time in 20 years to Jasper Springs. Taylor is a small town florist, they couldn’t be more different. When Drew starts singing Taylor Swift, it melts the ice around Taylor’s heart a little. He’s cautious and he knows Drew is leaving soon. Why would a rock star want a florist? It doesn’t make sense but he does. When Drew’s ex shows up, Taylor believes the worst. Can Drew show him the truth? I loved the storyline and the characters. They may seem to different but in reality they are perfect for each other. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

While this definitely wasn't my favorite book in this series, I still think it's pretty good! Drew and Taylor are a cute couple and the rockstar trope isn't abused it is in most stories this. If you Tylor Swift you will definitely enjoy this book more than I did, as a lot of the things Drew and Taylor connection relate to her. I am not a fan of her, therefore i had no reference for the gravity of certain things that were alluded too. That is really the only reason this isn't 4 or 5 stars. It truly is a great read! Book 3 of the series and, as with books 1 & 2, very well written with an amazing story and MCs.

Very heavy on the Taylor Swift references so if you're a fan of hers (if you're not then you're wrong, try again!) you should 100% give this a read.

Taylor (not Swift FYI
