Super super cute light omegaverse with lots of fluffy sweet feelings. 3.5 - 4 stars

I really this author and have probably read 90% of her books. This one wasn't bad at all, it's an adorable escape read when you just want light and fluffy. That being said, it was honestly kind of boring. There's almost no plot, no drama, no angst, no romance, just a omega and her guys that you can see coming from the very beginning.

We open with Zara leaving what seems to be a potentially abusive Alpha and driving 6 hours away to be a live in nanny/housekeeper/cook for a 3 month old and rejected Alpha dad Ben.

We learn his last Omega was apparently a selfish narcissist that rejected him and walked out on their newborn but that's IT. There's NO other storyline on WHY she left, WHO she is, WHY she rejected him and the baby other than she's a selfish C***. We also never learn WHY Zara's Alpha was abusive or even how, just that he took advantage of her during a low period. The only angst comes from him showing up once and getting scared off by three dudes.

Ben is grumpy and in a lot of pain and doesn't want Zara there but can't work and stay at home full time with the baby.

The baby is also super weird. I mean it's a cute storyline but she literally wakes up, eats, burps then sleeps. All day. Every day. All night. Zara's job is pick Mia up, feed her, change her diaper, and put her back in the crib to sleep. That's NOT how infants act.

Ben also has two best friends Henry and Liam but they aren't a pack. Until they meet Zara and both feel an immediate attraction to her. They concoct a plan to help Ben, whose apparently broke living in a empty 5 bedroom house with just his infant and can't actually afford Zara, which is to leave their rental (Liam) and sell Henry's house instead of asking him to downsize, and move in to pay rent so Ben doesn't go bankrupt.

They fall instalove/lust with Zara whose just an amazing little housewife with no hopes/dreams/aspirations/hobbies... except she makes toast for breakfast every.single.day. The author really went repetitive on her descriptions this book. First with the baby, then with activities and even some dialogue.

As soon as they move in Zara goes into heat for "her pack", Ben decides he loves her too, they share a heat and form a pack.

Wham. Bam. Pack you ma'am.

Again, super cute just no effort at all.

Lighthearted, steamy RH Omegaverse read

This was an easy to read, lighthearted, sweet omegaverse read. I’d rate it 3.5 overall. There was basically zero angst, no drama or conflicts at all really. Zara leaves a bad relationship (although we really get no details of said relationship other than he’s narcissistic and preyed on her after her parents passing) and takes a nanny job for Ben. Ben has a three month old daughter with a mate that rejected him and abandoned the baby at one month old. The baby is a prop, and oddly sleeps the entire day and night except for when she wakes to feed, but she immediately goes back to sleep during or after a feed. It became very distracting the more scenes it happened, because this is NOT normal behavior for a three month old. She doesn’t need to be the center of attention, but maybe plop her on a play mat after breakfast instead of going back to bad for the day? Moving on…. Ben is resistant to having a nanny, and is still struggling with being rejected. His parents and friends pushed him, as he desperately needs help. He’s a bit of a grump and takes a bit to come around.

Enter the friends. Liam and Henry are the friends. They’re great personalities, but we really learn about either of their backgrounds, or what any of these guys do outside of the home. Henry is into financials, which we know because he is the one handling Ben’s. But that’s it. Not a lot of world building of depth.

The rejected mate is never an issue. Zara’s ex makes a half hearted attempt to show up once. Otherwise, zero drama. The friends both realized early on they wanted Zara, and wanted to be a pack. Ben took a bit to get over his rejection issues, but he was on board as well. So pretty easy going for everyone overall. Plenty of steamy heat scenes. Obviously we have an HEA. If you’re looking for easy to read, sweet, lighthearted omegaverse, this one fits the bill. ChocoholicReader410 24

Rating- good but with issues
Heat- 3
Tropes- insta love, MFMM, sweet omegaverse, abusive ex, single parent, falling for nanny

Sometimes I just want a low angst, low drama read, and Knot Just the Nanny is certainly that. It is sweet and simple with likable characters. While there is a hint of some typical dramatic tropes, jealous exs and enemies to lovers, the author chose to never really develop them. The lack of them doesn’t take away from the book as long as you are in the mood for an easy read. What is missing from the story is world building. Every omegaverse world is different. In some, omegas are rare and prized. Sometimes they are treated as less than. Packs are often common but occasionally they are not. There is absolutely nothing about how society works in this book. The only thing we learn is that bonds can be broken, but even that is never explained. The guys aren’t a pack in the beginning, but they don’t hesitate at forming one, so we get no sense of normal family structures. We also don’t go into depth about these characters. All we see is their interactions. They guys go to work each day. What do they do there? No idea. Zara is hired as a nanny. Is this her career or did she take it due to her circumstances? We are never told. Zara performs the daily tasks of cooking and caring for the baby. Does she have any hobbies or interests? We don’t know. And that baby sleeps ALL THE TIME. Yet not once do we see Zara do anything. Overall, a cute book to read if you want easy but wait until that mood strikes you.ex-problems grumpy-sunshine insta-love ...more Kate Cooper43 2

Knot Just Their Nanny is a lighthearted but oh so steamy reverse harem romance that brings the fire of desire in tenfold alongside the moments that set your heart alight and your soul spinning. When Zara becomes the nanny of a rejected alpha mate’s young daughter, she never imagines to be thrust into the world of desire, mixing work with pleasure is something that doesn’t cross her mind…but when the world spins on its axis, can Zara understand what she truly wants? Is she capable of fighting desire as she works alongside a man who thinks he can do everything?

This was brilliant. So lighthearted. So romantic it truly felt an escape. Eve has a way of transporting you into the world, making you feel so immersed that you genuinely feel you’re going through the story right alongside the characters. It was emotional. It was beautiful. It was sensual, steamy and seductive. It had everything that you could possibly want.

I’ve always said that Eve does this genre well and this standalone is no exception! Badass, independent and wonderfully brilliant characters - a strong woman who is sure of herself but unafraid of showing her emotions, strong and brooding alpha males that show their vulnerabilities and are all the better for it. They are wonder on their own but together, they’re truly magical. I adored this reading journey and it’s been so lovely to dive back into the genre with this!

I can’t wait to see where Eve goes next! Kayla Bieker56 2

I absolutely love omegaverses. So when I was scrolling for a new one I saw this was being released and grabbed it. I finished this in one day. This has all the amazing tropes too!
Single dad x nanny
Grumpy x sunshine
Fated mated
Workplace romance
Slow burn
I devoured this book. You’ve got Zara who is a 23 year old omega who is now working for Ben a newly single dad and rejected mate looking after his 3 month old baby daughter. Then in steps in his two best friends Liam and Henry. Liam is a total flirt and a used to be playboy Henry is more quiet and reclusive but knows something is different about their connection. What I loved about this was it wasn’t a typical omega verse, yes a lot of the aspects are there but it’s not focused on knotting and mating bites and heats. There was an actual plot to the story. I really enjoyed the characters and their connections. This is a non shifter omega verse with no MM the alphas are focused on her and her alone it does have spice but not until way into the book because it’s slow burning. This was one of my favorites omega verses I have read Katie Roberts605 3
