Sinopsis

Ava O’Hara, a thirty-year-old TV star, throws her glamorous life upside down and moves with her boyfriend Luca to another planet. Her relationship with the world class footballer is going through a rough patch, and he claims that the relocation could save them.

Earth2 is a perfect version of our planet – free of war, crime, disease and natural disasters. It’s within reach of anyone who can afford the multi-million-dollar ticket and is ready to abandon their former life. They are only allowed to take fifty-kilos of luggage each – but the baggage that the eye can’t see is heavier than either of them could realise. Are they moving towards a better future, or running from the past?

As they reach their destination, a new friend goes missing in mysterious circumstances, which triggers a chain of unexpected events, exposing many shocking revelations from lives so desperate to start afresh. While Ava is trying to work out whom she can trust, she needs to face the challenges of emigration, her complicated love life; and deal with the aftermath of choices that she made back on Earth. Torn between two worlds, will she ever get the life she is looking for?
