This was a fun , sexy , fast paced read for me.

I pretty much got from the start of the book the secret at the end that the main character couldn't seem to grasp. There was defiantly a bunch of naivety to the character that I thought would really annoy me but just Vanessa (the main) I shrugged it off. Maybe its because how Wade written it in and the flow of the book.

Being a massive fan off this particular genre (no spoilers) it was just an ok story line. However the way its written is fantastic and despite my lack of enthusiasm for the story line I really enjoyed how Wade delivered.

f you’re looking for a spooky read this weekend, then The Hotel, a supernatural, action adventure novella by Erin Wade is perfect.

There are dark well kept secrets, a vampire bride that needs to save her family and a dark haired Texan beauty that seems to make everyone fall in love with her.

Vanessa has promised to marry a wealthy, well connected Texan so she can save her family by getting them out of Russia. The Russian authorities want the families riches so she must marry and gain them asylum in the US. She is stunningly beautiful but has to hide who she is from the world, she is laser focused on saving her family and nothing can distract her from this.
That is until she meets Lareesa (Reesa) her soon to be sister-in-law. The dark heard alluring woman sets Vanessa’s heart racing and she will do anything Reesa wants. There’s something about Reesa that Vanessa can’t quite put her finger on, but she’s to busy trying to keep her own secret, save her family and definitely try to not fall in love with her soon to be in-law.

The characters are fun, it has twists and turns in the storyline as well as danger and adventure, and some steamy scenes between the leading ladies. I enjoyed the undeniable attraction between the MC’s and the forbidden love aspect of the story, they are meant to be together but there are so many things in their way.

It’s supernatural so expect some blood, gore and murder, but ultimately this is a fun spooky read for the Halloween weekend. 2 s Carolyn G. Manuel848

5 Stars - Erin Wade is one of my favorite authors. She never ceases to amaze. Fall in love with her characters. When it’s over, I truly get so involved I feel I lost some friends. Action, adventure, love, and loss. I can’t wait for her next novel!! Mayra Luria458 1 follower
