More fun than a barrel of Lunkers!
Hey, if you enjoyed Monty Python and the Holy Grail or Douglas Adams Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, or
I dont know
the Marx Brothersyoull love E. C. Stevers unique Dragon Removal Service. But be warned! Beneath the madcap mayhem and just plain zaniness lies a remarkably well-crafted story about realistically drawn characters with more true to life motivations than those found in many a serious fantasy. (Of course, underneath them lie some pretty nasty magical leftovers, not to mention beasties.) Even the craziest lines you might think were tossed in for humor, turn out to be integral plot elements. Now thats well structured comedy. Seriously! Unless youre a trangle or something, youve just got to read this!

Indescribable
This would make an Interesting childrens book. The plot is nearly indecipherable, the characters use random words whiffle-waffle, and reason has nothing to do with the world. Children will either be enchanted by such creatures as Man-of-Arms or be frightened by trangles and lunkers.
I was alternately bored and amused. Not really sure how I finished it.1 Jared AustinAuthor 4 books5
Tons of fun! A brilliant idea, writing a story about dealing with the aftermath of the fight between good and evil. Life goes on, and there's lot to cleanup, whether its a haunted forest or mischievous creatures under a bridge, wrecking everyone's day. Gulchima and Hubward will take you on a romp through it all, and you'll laugh from beginning to end! S. D. HowarthAuthor 2 books15
Picked it up as an entertaining 'new Pratchett' and while it's a quick and fun read it didn't quite rock my houseboat.
Some interesting characters and ideas and a nifty explanation of how dragons fly but I wasn't pulled into the story.
Need a fast fun chuckle and this may be for you. Want something with a Pratchettesque bite and it misses the punch to the offbeat antics.fantasy BonusMom774 12
Well written and funny
Really d this story, although it is more of a YA read than I expected. Good world build with well thought out characters (both good and bad) and a very interesting plot. Wendy Maringelli4
I got it for free it's very good 5 stars!!!

Super funny
The characters are great and the world of this story is the best kind of weird. A really fun read. David Browne1 review

Some of the lowest high fantasy I've read. Interesting setting with grey morality and an entertaining premise. Will keep an eye out for a sequel Bill4 48

Fabulously funny and inventive
Twisting the tropes, bashing the fourth or sixth wall, magic and missing fingers glowing beards and nutty fairies - great fun - Kendell Timmers225 1 follower
Definitely Pratchett-, but somehow I couldnt quite get into it. Hard to know why. Shannon Scollard41
