On the worst day of her life, DI Bethany Smith decides to scrap the remainder of her leave and join Mike down in the garden, where a body has been left, posed, and with certain things on it that make no sense.
There’s a warped killer out there, intent on leaving clues, but what do they mean? They are linked in their own way but not in any manner that Bethany can use to solve the case.
With more deaths, a connection becomes apparent—the victims are all from the same friendship group. Who wants them dead—and why?
