Could Not Put It Down!!!!

I usually read PNR, but after reading Rebel Fighter, I knew I would want to pick up Damned Embers as well. Embry once again did not disappoint. Through the magic of her words, she takes you on a journey into Sky’s past and brings it into her present, leaving Sky to face the “demons” she thought she had ran away from.

Sky, the shy and sweet computer genius behind Rockport Security must return to a past she thought she left behind when the lead guitarist of Damned Embers is killed and the murderer leaves an all too familiar calling card. She knows she’s going to be hated when she returns, but this is something she has no choice in.

This story weaves tales of friendship, love, hatred, and danger all into one amazing novel, but it is not for the faint of heart. Damned Embers does have its triggers so readers be forewarned, but don’t be afraid to check it out. Definitely takes me away from my usual reads and I can’t wait for the next book
