What a sweet romance this turned out to be

I love the Club Royal series and its spin-off, Guarding Royalty, is right up there with it. I adore the ever-expanding Sutcliffe family, which now includes not only all the husbands/fiancés of the Princes but all those they regard as their family. The beloved bodyguards top that found family list but their partners are also welcomed with open arms too.
After the first two books in this series, where we've met both bodyguard Nick and gutter press reporter Malachi, these two are forced together by events that take a sinister turn and find out that maybe they are on the same side after all.
As a couple, they're incredibly sweet but they don't have an easy time of it. There's a lot for them to deal with but at least they have Brett, Felix and the rest of the guards to help and back them up.
The danger that surrounds the Royal Family is ever-present, and the events here are part of a story arc that continues on from the first two in the series. If you haven't read them, there's enough here to get you through but they're so good, just the 'parent' series, you'd do yourself a favour if you started from the beginning and read Rogue Royal. All those delicious Princes and one fabulous King (pleeease call him 'Andrew'!), and the brave bodyguards will keep you up all night.... reading, of course!
I absolutely cannot wait for Brett and Felix's story because it's been along time coming and it promises to be epic. Don't know what I'm going to do with myself till it gets here and don't know what I'm going to do with myself once the series ends. Heather MMRomanceReviewed1,343 60 Read

For a body guard who sees everything, Nick is blind to what he feels about Malachi until he's actually forced to open his eyes.. The intrigue for this story surrounds Malachi and his alter ego, Kai, putting both Kai and Nick into forced proximity and danger. I love how this story unwraps itself to reveal layer after layer of both Kai's alter ego and Nick's feelings.

The combination of outside threat and internal war are a delicious read and you get also get tons of pop ups from previous characters. This is definitely a series and a book best read in order and after the Club Royal series. I can't wait to see what comes next as they unravel more pieces to the growing overall intrigue as more protectors find their match. Judy84

I have loved all of the “Royals” books by Elouise East. This particular series is about the bodyguards that protect the royals. Nick is another great bodyguard and Malachi is a reporter that is not very supportive of the royal family. Things progress, secrets come out and love blooms. It’s a great love story with a HEA. Just because I love all the books in the “Royals” series (plus you get backstory on many of the characters in the “Protecting” series) I would suggest you read the Royals then jump right into the Protecting series. There is an underlying BDSM theme throughout these books that was also very enjoyable. I highly recommend all of these books. Enjoy! Jenny88

I feel half of the characters in this book were burdened by secrets. Kai is in danger so many times that I wanted to put him in a bubble suit and microchip him! Nick is finally able to see past the facade that Kai has been living behind. With help from friends and family a, this romance is a lot of intrigue with a dash of spicy. I recommend reading the previous books in the series in order to get a good grasp of the overarching storyline. Can't wait for the next one!

Having met both of these characters in previous books, royal bodyguard Nick and reporter Malachai are drawn together as the danger to crown escalates. As Nick gets to know Malachai he learns that he is not who he seems and the attraction between them is quick to build.

With a continuing story arc, overlapping characters and a bit of bdsm in its passionate scenes, this new addition to the series will keep you entertained for sure. AL1,437 11

I am completely addicted to Elouise East's Royals and all the stories in this world! Both the overarching story and all the pairs we get to see getting together are one of a kind, and they never fail enchant and surprise me. Nick and Malachi were a very unly pairing, but absolutely perfect in all their differences.
There's great quality to this author's writing style that I absolutely adore. Looking forward to more Sandy Johnson1,613 7

I loved Nick and Malachi's story. I have been not so patiently waiting for it. I was so glad when I found out Malachi was for Nick. Both guys are pretty special to me. I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Jerri569 3

I’ve loved all of the Club Royal books, and Guarding Royalty just as much. This whole world makes me want to move to Windsor. I need the next book! Kassandra Knight1,271 1 follower
