Great story!

Alex was set n a ship when he was ten. His Laird father was a mad man. Twenty years later the captain of the ship was dying. He told Alex that his father gave him to the captain and said to make a man out of him and what his clan name was. The captain was dying. After his death, Alex set himself to go home. Once home he got into a fight with his father and his father was killed. Alex’s clan was better with Alex as laird. He needed a wife, so he went to a tournament, where the winner got Isobel. This thrilling story had me all caught up in Alex and Isobel. She was truly a remarkable character with a fiery spirit. She vowed to marry the man that could best her in an archery contest and Alex is the man that does so. His winning starts them along their path one that is filled with twists and turns that had me cheering for this couple to their chance for happiness.

Hang on for a Row!

Alex has his work cut out dealing with Isobel. Title does say hellion! She had to fight in dealing with Geoffrey but she is a handful. She drove me nuts being obstinate but I considered the title & her personality fit the story. Enjoyed watching the transition & healing Alex walked thru in dealing with his life. Interesting concept to change from life in the sea to a clan to rebuild. Good story! Sabrina H28

I really d the beginning, an interesting idea & the dialogue was fun to read. There was a fair bit of ups & downs, more downs then I prefer. But I d the characters & how he believed in her ability to fight & still was there to protector her. Her relationship with her sisters was fun to read & you could see the love & care for each other.
