Reseñas Varias sobre este libro
Three stars for now
This is a wonderful story.
The Miss Mortimer series has has a rough start (maybe only in my opinion), but
over the last few volumes, the volumes have risen above the rough beginnings
to be one of my go to favorites.
In this work, Mrs. Mortimer is limited to a single location and she has to solve a
jewels theft, or maybe there wasnt actually one. Its confusing.
The premise is delightful and Mrs. Mortimer, with the full entourage of writers and odd bods that seem to be employed by her Aunt, spending her (and their
days) pampered and challenged.
The denouement is well-plotted and nicely revealed, and only the most
careful readers will have anticipated the details of the grand reveal.
I really Mrs. Mortimer. She is real (to me), and her confusion is mine and maybe most readers confusion.
I assigned this volume just three stars because of the very poor instructions
in the authors epilogue.
While Im sure it was just poor copy reading on her part, I do expect authors to
proofread their works from beginning to end. Including the epilogue.
Ms Oakley, in the epilogue, offers us a free BookFunnel prelog to the entire
series, but sadly, it isnt at the website to which she directs us.
I deducted one star to draw attention to the fact that, rather than follow the
instructions in the epilogue, readers must enter:

Into their search engine. Amanda Baldwin205 10
