If you are used to reading this author's Rage/Hell MC series, this one will be different for you, they seemed a bit darker, harsher. Rage and Hell are often zany, even as there are some dark aspects. The one thing that was very different, that I really d was how so many members has psychic gifts, how they used them for the benefit of the club and how women were allowed to be full members.

A great deal of the action had to deal with Warden, his mother, sister and sister's BFF. To say that there is history between them and it's not been good for the last 10 years is an understatement. I felt bad for the girls at the start, then kinda hated them once Warden entered the picture and they were brought to the clubhouse. It stayed that way for a good long time, it was only when the mom's horrible past actions were revealed that I started to thaw on the girls, as they were fed a pack of lies and believed the mom, because who wouldn't right??? I was glad things were revealed towards the end and relationships healed and more.

I will say that Iona very much surprised me with her flavor of sex and that Warden went along with it. She also surprised me a couple other times with her reactions to things she stumbled upon and learned.

The other big action was how the club was going after family member who had been trafficked. What this woman and a couple others in the MC went through was awful, but at least the bad guys got theirs, in spades. I also how this brought them to SD and they encountered Rage, who they all thought were batshit crazy, but did appreciate their help!

Overall, for a first book, this did a great job of setting things up for the series, introducing the characters and made me want to read more, but I think I love the crazy Rage/Hell crew more, because of the crazy.This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.Show full review2024 bdsm e-book ...more Linda619 11

This is book 1 in the Royal Bastards MC – Camden Maine series. I have to say that it started out a little slow for me then it suddenly stopped, grabbed me up and sat me back down with a WOW! That was awesome! The beginning of the book gives us some background story about Iona and Rosalea’s adventure then we get a little on Warden. Then exciting things begin to happen. Rosalea calls her brother, Warden, asking for help. Once that starts, we begin to find out all kinds of things about their family. The old chemistry between Iona and Warden lights up with a bang and sparks are flying everywhere before they calm down. That was awesome!! I couldn't put it down!! I spoil love when they have special powers it makes it more exciting!! When Warren's sister and best friend c a murder they knew they were at the wrong place, wrong x. But the vival MC that has caused the RBMC alot of grief wants 2 possibly kill them 2. Will they get captured and killed or will the RBMC save and protect them? Read and find out. There's a lot of action and some of the problems from 10 yrs ago come to light finally. This new Chapter of the Royal Bastards is off to a great start with Warden. He's the President of Royal Bastards MC, Camden, ME. Chapter. He's been estranged from his family for quite some time but when his sister Rosalea and her friend Iona find themselves in a big mess Warden is the one they turn to. This author takes us one big journey in this great, well written, quick read. Her characters are fantastic and their story is intense and as always, this author pulls her readers into their world seamlessly. I can't wait to see what's next for this Chapter!

This is an excellent start to a new series by an incredible author. Good characters that you're either going to hate or love, along with good twists and turns, plus action and suspense with some paranormal action that really adds to the story. It kept me captivated from the very beginning. I absolutely loved Warden, with his bad boy image but his big heart. And what a roll-reversal! I did not care for Iona at first; she had a very judgemental bratty personality. I think that Warden was definitely too good for Iona and that he forgave her way too fast for my liking. I am really looking forward to who's story comes up next. Ruthy33

strong first book

Totally new series among the Royal Bastards universe. Darker than what we are used to reading from Elizabeth, though it didn’t disturb me. I’m a little crazy for people with paranormal gifts and this new RB chapter fits right in my alley. My heart's already breaking for a few members, and I hope to see them heal as this series evolves. On the other hand, seeing some of my beloved Rage make an appearance brought a smile to my face. Especially, my Artemis and her crazy monkey youknowwhat.
If you haven’t read Rage, I sincerely encourage you to, because then you’ll experience that smile of mine. Yet, it’s not imperative to this RB chapter, you read Warden perfectly without it.

This is an author I've been following since they started and this book Took them a complete different direction from all of the characters and descriptions we love here we got the typical Biker story which She know she never wrote. Crew of characters I wanted the female leads to leave and never come back. Very very disappointed will not continue reading any of this series. Sad to have even opened this rubbish. Jodie Maines140

Camden charter is going to rock the Royal Bastards world. This book cross all t's and dots all the i's. In this first story we meet Warden and his crazy cast of misfits. You get it all laughs, action and wicked dominant sex! (Note shocking twist) The ladies hold their own, serving up a great number of knockem sockem fights. I wasn’t sure if I was going to Warden from the first chapter cause I didn’t really Pearl, Roselea and Iona I thought they were horrible women, BUT I stuck with it and I’m so glad I did cause it is AMAZING, I loved the special powers some of the brothers/sisters have and I’m so looking forward to what comes next.

OMG I knew it would be good

Devastated Rage has ended, but OMG RBMC Camden is absolutely fantastic I couldn’t put it down. There are so many twists and turns, you need to pay attention. Obviously it’s Elizabeth, there is a HEA, but my goodness what a ride to get there. I’d give it 10 stars if I was allowed to. Rena Graves61

I love this book. I d the added extra of powers telekinetic and such I'm just a little worried that it's going to change rage now to have supernatural powers added to that series when it was so normal
