Loved the POV of the book, written from 2 perspectives, that of a victim and from the serial killer himself. Also enjoyed the fact that it was written from a male perspective, as usually the its the victim and female. This was a fast and evenly paced read, lots of detail and development of characters. I feel this could be part of a series, because the “reason” behind the Dollman himself wasn’t completely explained and the reason for the dolls was not revealed (those 2 reasons were the determining factor of 4 starts instead of 5). This was so so good! I love the idea of a honorable serial killer. Unfortunately, that premise could turn cheesy or look a Dexter knockoff. The Dollman is anything but. While these victims are horrible, and mostly criminal, the police know nothing of their wrong doings until looking into their death. I'm interested to learn more about The Dollman in the next book. Danny's backstory was heartbreaking. I love that he continuously put himself in the middle of it to save someone else. That's a true hero.
