Sinopsis

In this Pride and Prejudice variation, Elizabeth injures her ankle while visiting Charlotte at Hunsford, and Mr. Darcy is there to save her. As he keeps her company during her recovery, Elizabeth’s opinion of him improves dramatically, so much so that when he proposes, she accepts even though she is not in love with him. Her injured ankle complicates matters, but Elizabeth’s wedding day arrives before she is able to walk again. Supported by the love of her husband, Elizabeth gradually becomes accustomed to her new life, but there is much to learn about love and married life for them both.

This is a novella length book of about 40,000 words. much of this story takes place after the wedding and thus there are mature themes involved, though there is nothing explicit.
