This collection of poems and short stories of reminiscence are not quite cozy but comfortable. The poems are about long time love, family, and friends. They left me with warm feelings. His father was a stone mason who did memorials and gravestones. Those were melancholy in a good way. The remaining dealt with his memories of his childhood in Flanders.

Structurally, the poems are well crafted. The short stories are well balanced - they didn't feel too long or too short. I d both of type of content and will be revisiting several again.

Poetry is very personal. I hope I have given you enough to decide if this is for you.
