I wanted to start by stating that I freely submitted my review after receiving this book. This book is short and quick, as you may already know. When I started, I was well aware of this, which was totally acceptable with me. The story had some positive aspects, but there were also some areas that could have used some improvements. In fewer words without no spoiling, I believe that this story had its potential in becoming a long one, a normal 300 page book where there was some character development and there were some conflict that ended up being resolved at the end. The whole entire relationship transformation was an issue for me especially since the guy was known to be a playboy and there was no mention of protection or being clean during sex.

I received this book for free and voluntarily reviewed it. It's intended to be short and it was a quick read. I enjoyed the story and I wanted to know more about the characters.
For me to book was a bit too short. There was much more potential for character development and conflict in the story and it felt to me a bit rushed. The transformation from beast to be a lovendrunken fellow was too quick for me.
Another issue I had was the first time they got intimate. No mention of protection and for a guy who states he had a lot of women, I really have a problem here. If he doesn't use protection with her, did he with all of his previous women?

Demetrius Fox meets Julieanne Jones as an exchange for an opening act for one of his celebrity singers. They definitely have an instant chemistry/spark and once they agree on terms for her performing, they develop a relationship.

While there is a temporary distraction, the opening act performer, her attempts to build a wedge are unsuccessful.

Demetrius and Julieanne get a happy ending.

Love his determination and patience. Instant mutual attraction with low drama, love that. Good length for those days when you need some captivating steamy romance but you don't all day to read. I really d the connection between Demetrius and Julieanne and how good they were for each other. I believed in their chemistry and that they would have a future together. I also d seeing them able to show their strong and vulnerable sides and how well they understood each other. I am voluntarily leaving this review after receiving an ARC from Hidden Gems. Good and simple
It's a good short story. It's simple, romantic, tender with some hot scenes and it offers Demetrius and Julieanne a new chance to share something after previous relationships that left marks.

Oh man. This is what I’d consider a barely tolerable read. It just reinforced how much I dis those musician romances. Read it if you …maybe your see something I missed. One can but hope…(I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and was not impressed.)
