Anticlimactic & questions...so many questions.

The last book of this series left me feeling somewhat meh. I feel there are a lot of open ends to still be explored.
What's up with the evolving talismans?
Is there a backstory to the Lost?
The sea monster talismans...do they survive? Are they alive? Will they procreate?
What happened to the South Family?

Great last book, although there are some open questions. This makes me hope that some day, some time, this universe continues.


I am curious to see what happens 10 years from now and how they all get along. I feel some chapters are missing.
