another great by Derek fee

His new character Fiona and those three books are excellent. Make sure to read the Wilson books he wrote , there are ten and they’re fabulous 1 Ian Kittle138 1 follower

Derek Fee books are an absolute pleasure to read. I have read almost all of his books. He is an indie writer who self publishes his books.

This is the third book in the series on this lady Detective Sergeant. The story is fascinating and full of turns. The location is different and adds to it.

Derek Fee uses his worldly experiences gained from many working years. His plots are varied and interesting.

The books are priced well and worth the purchase.

Now we have to wait until the next one is written. Ted BunAuthor 76 books24

Great story ... stacking up well with the DI Wilson series by the same author.

Fiona Madden is a great character ... plenty of depth to keep her running for a long time.
This one is almost a closed room murder, OK a huge room but still a closed list of possible perpetrators. DS Madden's problem is finding someone with a motive.

The missing star ... it is not as well edited as one has come to expect from Derek Fee. Still, I'll be on to book 4 as soon as it is released! Graham Hall97 1 follower

Proof reader needs removing!!

After waiting expectantly for this book I was pleasantly surprised at the content. The storyline was excellent and the characters believable. There was drama and comedy in shedloads. It was well worth reading and I would recommend it. The only downside in my view was the poor proofreading of the book. On every page there was some grammatical error. In some cases it spoilt the flow of the story in others it was irrelevant but non the less obvious. simone29

Another brilliant read

I can't recommend Derek fee's books enough!
Every book in this series is a gripping read with plenty of twists and turns that keep you guessing right to the end. I was that engrossed I couldn't put it down until I finished it as I just had to know where the story would take me,its not often I shed tears reading books but this particular book made me actually cry! Well done Derek fee!

Superb plot and believable chsracters. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Another great read with another p.o.
I've team that are utterly believable. Great insight into policproceedire and the inevitable politics in the higher ranks. As soon as I see a new book by Derek Fee I buy it and read it straight away. I'm never disappointed I just wish he would write quicker. kenneth Fowler161

Fiona and Tracy back in the middle looking for answers on Aran island !

Another fine Ireland based novel from Derek fee ,he always makes my think with his approach to Fiona’s tales and worry where human nature will eventually take the world.
This is a story of consequence although long reaching and makes you realise that there are few innocents left in this modern society Ronald Manley192 5

Great characters with an intriguing murder to solve. Jain Ferdinand11 5

I d the characters and the plot, and I follow this series and this writer. However, the sheer number of typos and malapropisms made this book a 3 star rating rather than a 4 or 5. Bonnie82 1 follower

I this series

This particular story was a bit slow but got there in the end. the earlier Fiona stories seemed to show her being more active. Patrick O'Doherty7

Brilliant Modern Take on Policing in Ireland

Great story well written but perhaps a new proof reader would further enhance the details of the story and increase its pleasure Melanie Underwood219 5
