Seemed a bit jumpy ... went from the first day to 15 months in a couple of words. I actually had to reread a couple parts just to make sense of where I was in the timeline 1 Ann1,235 41

Dom (at work) and dommer (at the desk) was too samey but it could be sold if written better. Monique213 16
Natasha Reynolds has been an administrative assistant in the IT department for two years when she is suddenly transferred to work as the assistant to Peter Collins. It seems Mr. Collins is unable to keep an executive assistant around for longer than a few weeks and has refused to accept any more temporary help. Unbeknownst to Natasha he has handpicked her to work for him. After several days of stress induced vomiting, Natasha resolves to get a grip on herself and do whatever she has to do to make this treacherous situation work. Instead of reacting with anxiety over every task given to her, she would stop being afraid and do the work just as perfectly as Mr. Collins did his.
I really enjoyed Natashas character. She was a bit feisty and even though she had a healthy respect for her boss she wasnt a complete doormat. We got to delve into her mind and see both her fears and triumphs. On the other hand, I didnt Mr. Peter Collins very much. I thought he was a cold, unemotional jerk who thought he was better than everyone else. He was a very demanding boss that accepted nothing less than perfection from Natasha. But then I began to Mr. Collins when he finally stopped being Natashas difficult boss and became her Dominant lover instead. I thought the scenes in which he got real personal with her and showed her the way were intense. Mr. Collins preyed upon Natasha for over a year while patiently weaving his net to finally catch her. The subtle ways he played with her mind was quite masterful.
Natasha and Mr. Collins relationship was definitely not conventional. But none of the relationships in Charlotte DeCortes books are. I loved the interactions and the banter between these two characters. Yes, Mr. Collins was another fascinating look into the psychology of a dark relationship. I really enjoyed this novella and am eagerly waiting to see what happens next with Mr. Collins and Natasha.

Natasha and Mr. Collins are very interesting characters. They have established a working relationship and Natasha holds the distinction of being the only PA to last more than a few weeks. But now after 15 months Mr. Collins seems to be making a major change in their relationship. bdsm dark erotic ...more Jacki360
Yes, Mr.Collins-
Natasha and her boss Mr.Collins have a sexy, dominant, office relationship in this short read. I was easily entertained by this story and it went by in a flash. It was fun, sexy, and one I'd recommend to someone looking for a quick, dominant themed, erotic romance. Dirty Dayna1,779 105
this is less than 60 pages of a hunter prey relationship that has potential to turn into a good serial read. but as a standalone it barely gets good. there is a cute interaction about a semicolon. over all it was a good quick read but not enough to entrance me to read the rest of the series Megan FieldsAuthor 6 books89

Very short and just strange reading, no foundation set and whoosh you have skipped 15 months of time.... Just not worth the very, very short read.... Molly1,027
