What a stunning collection of tales to bring in the best storytelling season. This collection has winter stories from all around the world, and its filled with gorgeous illustrations. My kids especially enjoyed learning the tradition of Sylvesterclausen and Scottish folklore regarding the Cailleach.

V poslednom ?ase mám naozaj ?astie na nádherne ilustrované a obsahovo bohaté detské knihy. Zimné rozprávky nie sú iadnou výnimkou, pretoe o?aria u úplne nádherne zdobenou obálkou.
Zima bola vdy obdobím, kedy si ?udia v teple domova krátili dlhé ve?ere rozprávaním príbehom. Po runých iných obdobiach je to ?as na snívanie a na sviatky ?i tradície, ktoré ma kadá kultúra na svete iné.

A diverse and enchanting collection of winter stories from all over the world which are set around christmas, New Year's Eve, the winter season and even seasons in general. Themes around friendship, companionship, family, nature, joy and life are all represented in the collection.
There is probably at least one story in there that you have never heard of before. I only ever read The Nutcracker and The Snow Queen prior to this collection, and while those two tales are still one of my favourites, I did discover some new great stories as well.
The beautiful illustrations on every single page also help bring the narratives come to life.
A few of these tales are meant for a very young audience which is why I could not enjoy them as much, but they were cute nonetheless.
