OK; While the overarching story line was as good as any I've read so far, I do feel a need to voice some of my personal opinions on the direction these books have been taking of late. And that is that I think Mr Archer has lost sight of what got him here! Since when did Noah Wolf morph into George Jetson? (Those too young may not even understand this reference!) And Wally Lawson's inventions and crew, seem to turned into Q-Branch from the James Bond series. (Reference the "smart bugs" that the antagonist in this story has!) At first, the whole Home Robotics venture seemed it might be a mild distraction; but then it too morphed into a full-blown story line of its' own. Then along comes Esmeralda (when was that, somewhere around book 13 - Black Harvest?) And now we have Stanley!!! Frankly, to me at least, this whole thread has become a bit overly tedious. (Have you ever tried to hack into the traffic camera system in your area? Well, neither have I. But I know it would not be done in MICRO-seconds!) While I may be in the vocal minority here, I say just give me a plain old and BELIEVABLE Who-Done-It any day. After reading this latest episode, I can honestly say that I'm not actually looking forward to the next installment. Which is sad to me because up until now, I have jumped on every one of these Noah Wolf books. I can't really say I'll be all that ready to jump on Alpha when it comes out next March!1 1 comment Steve Adams1 review

This is a clear sample of an author who needs to stop the story line because he simply, if I may say, "lost his mojo". lost his mojo completely. I started reading Noah Wolf's adventures a year ago and I was thrilled with the story, the approach, the heroes, everything. It had the whole package:

1. Weird hero: check
2. Nice plot: check
3. Special ops: check
4. Gadgets: super check!

When mr. Archer introduced Emma in the story, I said "ok... not sure how this will end". It ended Emma becoming more sentient that Data in Star Trek, but... ok, it's a story. But book no.20? Stanley, the broken non-sentient robot which went rogue? A crazy assassin who kills EVERYONE who cross paths with him? EVERYONE?

I'm really sorry but, mr. Archer, stop writing about Noah and create another hero and a new story. Book no.20 is completely predictable, I was more interesting on Noah and Sara's story going back in action rather than Stanley's trip around the US. And, as my son told me, when the hero is more interesting than the story itself, then there's something seriously wrong with the story being told.

I've just passed most of the pages till 67% (Kindle edition), but I'm not going to fool myself. I'll just change book I'm reading. I have to admit that it's a pity, because the whole Mission Impossible concept was really amazing. But not any more.

Kind regards,

Rogue Intelligence

This story just goes to prove that David Archer is a great author of fun to read books. Its amazing how he takes Stanley the robot and puts a human side to him. This is another fast read so be prepared to sit and read. Stanley is ordered to protect Claire a ten year old daughter of an Ambassador. She becomes a target of an Both Korean assassin. Stanley grabs her and takes off with her to protect her. This puts the E&E on alert because no one knows Stanley is a robot with amazing skills and tech and if found out about could put an end to E&E. Dennis Martin213 1 follower

One of Noah’s team is sent to Washington to protect the British ambassador, targeted for assassination by a killer hired by North Korea. The assassin decided that killing the Ambassador’s daughter would upset him so much he would no longer be a problem for the Koreans. A new android robot, Stanley, is part of the team sent to protect the Ambassador. He saves the Ambassador’s daughter, but flees with her when his circuits are screwed up by a direct lightening strike. The chase is on! ENJOY! dennis barron1,475 20

One of Noah's teams is sent to Washington DC to protect the British Ambassador from an assassination ordered by the North Koreans dictator. The contract was taken by a world glass assassin is on a world class level. He's actual target is the ambassadors daughter. Non stop action and suspense. Another excellent read in this series!! Enjoyed immensely!! LooseBoots 836 6

Thank goodness for having yet another brilliant edge of your seat, Noah Wolfe classic thriller to read.
I have so missed this type of story. It has everything you could possibly want in an all action packed adventure thriller.
Yet again I finished this in the early hours.
If you don’t read any other book, read this one. Satisfaction guaranteed. Bill Barnes792 6

Excellent story. the previous this could be listed in the SciFi section. The only bad thing is trying to read using the kindle app on an IOS device. It is garbage for trying to search, especially buy because you have to go to Amazon to buy. This story was really really good and I recommend it highly. carl clause336 7

As always David excellent Noah Wolf saga. Except this time it was more about Sally and his robots. Very excellent story. about Stanley and Claire avoiding her death. Then in mean time Noah finds out about CIA director wants to shut down their operation. Very great next chapter. 10 stars plus !!!!! Thanks, Carl Clause Mark Schoedel2

Best novel he has written so far!

As I have read all the novels in the series, this one was the first I could not put down. Action from start to finish and a stronger "human" element. Great ending! I also appreciate David not using the elements a lot books have these days, excessive coarse language and strong sexual overtones. Certainly not needed for a good novel. justinDudash10

The Future is upon Us

This exciting series has been hard to put down.
Genius humans and unequaled Life Robots are cast in such a clever plot.
One never knows what exactly what will happen next. The author built each character skillfully each new chapter developed a cohesive plot. I highly recommend this Series! David Sylvester157

America bound on a secret mission

Another great chapter in the Noah Wolf Series. To protect a British Ambassador turns into a wild chase and twists not even remotely considered. Visiting my home town of St. Louis was exceptionally fun. Strap yourselves in for an interesting mission. Michael376 5

Outstanding

Another putstanding novel by David Archer. Even after 20 books, the adventures have not gotten stale, and the twists and turns keep the pages turning. Just pre-ordered Book 21. Dchamp217

Ok, this should get 5 stars... it's an outstanding book in this series!
All of these books are out of the ordinary, for reasons you'd see if you read even one of them.. but this one is downright great!
Very highly recommended! Peter Strauss186 4

Another Winner!

Although I love the real characters in this series most the more active addition of Esmeralda and Stanley is interesting and compelling! An exciting, fast moving addition to the series! Paul Routhier1 review1 follower

I really enjoy the Noah Wolf series but disappointed with Rogue Intelligence. It lacked action and Noah wasn’t part in the little there was.
The story was about 2 life robots protecting a little girl. Between the robots and frequent coincidences the story was unrealistic and a bit silly.

Great plot!

Although I came across a few typos, they don't take anything away from the story. A new android has been damaged and reverts to a protective mode. What follows is an interesting race against an assassin and time. Ann Steveskey2

Great series disappointing that it will be a long wait for book 21

disappointing that it will be a long wait for book 21.the plots keep me reading when I only plan to read a chapter. Joan W. Thomas347
