Sinopsis

It's New Year's Eve in London and that only means one thing. Fireworks, and lots of them.

As the citizens of England's capital gather on the banks of the Thames, there is an enemy lurking amongst them. It's an enemy who has struck before and now they are ready to strike again.

Happy New Year? Or the start of something bad?

Loved this series at the start, now losing interest. A lot of what is wrote is repeated numerous times within the chapter and it feels the author is just trying to fill his word count and get onto his next book. The final chapter in this book left me rolling my eyes. Although I will read the remaining two books in the series when they are out, it will only be because I don't to start a series and not see it through. Sorry!2 s Marj Hall-Venmore139

I enjoyed 20 Minutes To Midnight book 17 by Daniel Hurst, a series of interconnected short stories.

Events take place six weeks after 20 Minutes Behind Bars.

It is twenty minutes to midnight and everyone by the Thames are getting into the anticipated New Year celebrations but unbeknown to them all a monster is lurking inside a shop doorway waiting to unleash his terror into the New Year eve revellers and he is not working on his own.

Well another brilliant read in Daniel Hurst's 20 Minutes series. Some new characters have appeared alongside the regular ones . Its been good to catch up with the goings on of original characters as well as finding out about new ones. Can't wait for the next one to find out what happens to the characters next. Give this series a read and you'll be hooked. JJ459 1 follower

At this point the series has stretched long enough and I just wish It would finish so I could have a nice conclusion. The events are all quite similar (especially to the book revolving around bonfire night) and some of the povs offered nothing and for all there was action, nothing really happened because all the events seem so incomplete. Another excellent instalment in the the "2o Minutes" series by Daniel Hurst. I enjoyed catching up with old characters and meeting new ones. This time, the book took an interesting twist in the final pages, I look forward to seeing how this will develop. Carey Mundy717 4

17th book I this series finds 20 characters, some recurring and some new, facing New Years Eve in London. What happens to them will keep you unable to stop
