Book 13 of 20

Let me just say that I was so incredible distraught by the events of the prior book that I couldn't NOT look ahead to confirm that our boy Bogden was okay. That's one thing I about these books how if you so choose you could read the chapters out of order, and it doesn't take away from the overall book.

This was a HOT mess. I am sooo angry at those bad ass kids for setting off a chain reaction of tragedy. Mick, I can understand to a point but it was clear he made a poor decision that obviously hurt many others.

Fun Fact- I was listening to Billie Elish's Happier than Ever while reading Bogden's chapter. It really got me in my feels and felt appropriate. Until I read the lyrics and was oops she sings so beautifully about not being with a guy I thought she was singing about being with him LOL My bad but still it was such a good vibe.

Diego - Dude you are such a douche.
Lindsay- Up until now I d her. She seemed so incredibly innocent and sweet. But she gave me Kimberly Wallace from My Best Friend's Wedding vibes. If you are unfamiliar with the movie go watch it. The airport and the scene where she's in the bridal shop with Julia Roberts. Yup big eyed intensity.

Will, Chanelle, Louise- Group Hug

April- I would seriously go have a drink with you tonight and let you vent it all out. I'm on your side mama. I know I was judgey and didn't you at first but isn't that how all besties start?

Carol- OMG I screamed. Okay it was a yelp but it was loud enough that my family asked what was wrong. This entire time I've been so annoyed by her but when everything went down I was so scared.

Jill- Bitchhhhhhhh That's my BEST FRIEND! GO BEST FRIEND!! I adore Jill so much.

Harry- I mean at least you stayed out of trouble. Did they ever say what type of car he was in???

Wedding bells are next! Let's do this!!!!

The first book in the series that I've actually rated as 5 stars. I don't know if Daniel finally got a proof-reader, but I don't recall any mistakes that took me out of the immersion in this one, un the other books.
Also, the whole book and premise absolutely gripped me (except for Pauline. Sorry but what was the point of her chapter other than saying she's finally had a break? Again, other books in the 20 Minutes series have had more filler chapters than just the 1 - and they are usually just filler characters that are a one-shot the DJ in one of the earlier books - so I forgive her appearance as she's a returning character). The horror really built up as it went along.
I really wanted the horrible kids to get caught. I wonder if they will return for any comeuppance. Elizabeth399 1 follower

WOW I really enjoyed 20 Minutes On The Road book 13 by Daniel Hurst a series of interconnected short stories. Events take place two months after 20 Minutes In The Desert.

Our characters old and new start their journey on a very busy motorway in England and because of the devilish behaviour of two boys above this motorway our characters are in for the ride of their lives in more ways than one when their actions start a domino effect.

Among the havoc marriage proposals are in the air for some of our beloved characters as some survive and others do not.

I really enjoyed this one but found it a bit slower than the others, with longer explanations which I thought were a bit long-winded at times. As before I loved the way everyone's paths intertwine and how everybody's lives seem to connect in some way or other. The ending was a bit too abrupt for my liking, but with the promise of more to come next month I am excited to see what happens next. Carey Mundy717 4

Book 13 in the fabulous 20-minute series by Hurst. 20 people, some characters from previous books in series, and others new, have their lives upended on an English motorway. In just 20 minutes some will live and some will die. What a series - been reading these books for the past week and just canÂ’t stop! Glenda Greenhalgh40

Another brilliant read by Daniel Hurst. This series of 20 Minutes just gets better and better. The characters are very real as you read their stories. You can see them and hear their voices. Give these highly entertaining books a read and you'll get hooked. Marj Hall-Venmore139

Motorway Madness

20 Minutes on the Road sees some motorway madness cause devastation and close calls for the characters in the series but also happiness in other events. The addiction continues for this reader, on with the next book. Debbie260

ItÂ’s amazing what can happen in twenty minutes! Easy to read and amazing to see characters from previous books interacting with new characters. Sara Eames1,423 12

This was another interesting way of doing the 20 minute series. I thought with the setting it was going to be a bit samey (there are only so many ways you can describe a car crash) but the author managed to get 20 unique views and scenarios across very easily! Really enjoyed it, and couldnÂ’t wait to get onto the next one in the series! JJ459 1 follower

A bit slower than the other books in the series but still with the fun charcaters I have done to expect in Daniel Hursts books. The new character 8ntroduced were compelling for the most part and I did enjoy the development of those returning charcaters throughout the book.kindle-unlimited bookworm04!158
