This book kept me on the edge of my seat!! This story was filled with so much and will take you through every emotion.

The book centers on Ivy and Cas. He is the king of Cleveland and seemingly on top of the world. He will go above and beyond for those he loves and Ivy and their daughter Cali are front and center when it comes to his heart. After tragedy hits them hard their lives are turned upside down and it spirals fast. As a result Ivy and Cas go from forever loves to the worst of enemies.

On the business side of things Cas and Nova Cane enter a business arrangement that was orchestrated by Nova’s brother Cross and from the very first meeting Cas hates Nova because he has a wealth that Cas has never seen a 28 year old black man achieve and to pour salt on the wound was achieved without selling drugs. Un Cas, Nova made smart investments and his money is clean and very long. Just from that Cas is determined to destroy Nova any way that he can. What Cas never saw coming though was for his wife to fall in deep with Nova. Rage is too nice of a word to describe how Cas felt and the way he handled things…..
