I haven't written a review in the other books because I wanted to wait until I was finished the series and give one overall review.
The phrase "Oh What A Tangled Web We Weave" came to mind while reading this series. I've always loved ex-military biker books and these didn't disappoint as far as strong, alpha men who once they knew what they wanted they got it. Each main lady stood out in her own way. I found the story lines regarding the national threat idea interesting also. There was a lot going on in each book and a lot of characters to keep track of but I managed to do so. Good ending..

I devoured this series of 6 books and the 9 books before it. I dubbed the series MCMafia and it was great. If you want sexy alpha males, MC, mobsters, military men, and strong females then this series is for you. So many twists, and more twists and intrigue it was brilliantly written.

Great Read, HORRIBLE editing

These books are really good to read! There is a hook to grasp you in, and once your in, you don’t want to stop.
To who ever edited these books from this author, needs a new job. There were so many grammar errors, punctuation errors, and constantly repeats. Also, when one thing was mentioned, it was completely different in another chapter. Also the timeline was just bad. I honestly can’t describe the timeline in these books. Skipping way ahead of time, or mentioned something in the past as if it was 15 years ago, but says it happened a few days ago. Not too sure if that makes any sense. I’m not trying to bash the writer. I absolutely enjoyed these books. But to be an author, one needs to make sure the timeline is correct and that means to keep going over and over until you no it’s correct. Also the repeats of the same thing was annoying. The authors editor seems he/she got paid to do nothing.

I do recommend these books, but for me it was just too many errors. Some can stand it an others myself can’t get over it. Irene Marshall1,488 2

Excellent

Another great read from Ms Dahlen, her books are always full of interest and this is no exception. There is a complete lunatic out there who is planning the destruction of the country so that eventually he takes over the leadership he plans to cause chaos and murder millions of people but there are a special group of men and women who plan to stop him. Bear is a mountain of a man who was badly damaged whilst in the military serving overseas Lacey is the half sister of the madman whom has been held prisoner by him for 15years. Bear rescues her and they are immediately inseperable. Pappy's group with help are able to stop the crazy man's plan and Lacey and Bear get to be together. I hope there are more books to come in this series but if not this is a great story to end on.

Another amazing read!!

This book follows on from where the previous book ended and it centres on a young woman called Lacy who has been badly beaten by her brother who intends to destroy America as it is known.
Lacy is found by Bear who is there doing some recon for pappy to find out more about what the man Intends to do.
Bear has his own baggage which is very severe PTSD after his stint in the war.
Will they be able to stop this terror attack on the US and be able to overcome their insecurities that came about from their pasts?
It was an amazing story but felt a little anticlimactic at the end with regard to the person who was planning to do this heinous and disastrous plan.
Loving this author and series. It's getting to be addictive. Lynne10

I tend to read a series at a time, as I get impatient for new releases.
I've read all 6 in this series, and the Sin's series...so..with that..
I love the way KJ portrays the closeness of the MC. Tying the ex-military in it emphasizes it even more. Those ties are very real, and I'm impressed, something not easy to do.

The series ends on a high note

This is the final book in this series following on from book 5 sawyer and Bastian face more troubles and he raced to protect the woman he loves, near a new character joins the team in a race against time to stop a and man but in doing so he finds a woman as broken as him that in turn heals his soul. What a good storyline! Bastian, "The Priest", found the woman he loves and has to find her again. When he does she ends up having to be rescued twice! But he does it! Then there's Bear he has PSTD really bad, but meets a poor woman that has been abused by her psycho brother! The brother is going to tear up the country and it's up to Pappy and the guy's to stop it. Wow, what an awesome story. Bear came home from his tour in Iraq and was never the same. Bear rescued Lacey and her story was horrible.. Leroy, her half brother had massive plans to destroy the country so the MC's came together to help. There's action, suspense, mystery, and romance. Ms. Dahlen keeps you turning pages to find out what's going to happen next using realistic characters and storyline. Shirley917 6

I am happily reviewing this book which I received from the author through book funnel. What a delightful book from a great series which I highly recommend. Any reader I feel should enjoy this book. With a beautiful woman in trouble and a handsome ex marine suffering from PTSD and can't bear to be touched who rescues her. Not to mention the numerous men and women who are together to protect their homeland from terrorists in their own country. I love MC. Books and I loved KJ Dahlens. All the way from Spawn to 42Days, these books were so much different than what I have been used to reading. Political intrigue , government agencies , military vets and MC's. Older men and younger women in trouble....... great combinations.....great series. Read it.
