Where are the Spells Coming From ? . . .

Click and Scatter were trying to question Griselda, the cook at the finishing school, to find out if she gave a potion to a couple of the girls so they would fall in love with an older gay couple. But Griselda came after them with a rolling pin and backed them up against a huge oven, threatening to make a meal of them. Scatter shifted and 3 raccoons ran around Griselda’s legs while she shrieked and danced around the room. Click pushed her near the oven and Griselda disappeared. Walter (the ghoul) and Maribel (a human detective) ran into the kitchen to find out what was going on. While Walter and Scatter went to search Griselda’s room, Click and Maribel searched the kitchen for some kind of love potion.

Other strange things are occurring too as a woman insists that her daughter Amelia is not the same person she was. Her entire personality has changed. Cherry told them a homeless woman had an obsession with Amelia and followed her around, tried to steal her clothes and her toiletries. She kept sneaking into the school somehow. The paranormal team still has a group of boy-crazy girls running around and something that may be possessing Amelia Jordan to deal with. So are any of these problems related? Is everything being manipulated by the same person? Was the original love spell aimed particularly at the two girls? Or is there some sort of curse on the entire school?

entertaining supernatural cozy mystery series

This is an entertaining supernatural cozy mystery series. A fun and quirky cast of characters and the entertaining storyline. Click and shatter Detective agency ran by a couple of women who are not quite sure if they are seen or not as they’ve been put in an institution a couple of times but stay off the meds because when they take your meds their powers do not work. Click is which and shatter is a raccoon shifter who shifts into three raccoons. They also have a coworker who is a ghoul who drives a hearse and help them escape an asylum on time. As well as an actual private investigator there’s license who is for the most part normal but has the site. They only take on supernatural cases and try to keep themselves from being thrown back into an asylum somewhere. Things are amiss at the school and it is up to our heroine and her crew to figure out what before it gets any worse.

This is book three of the series, but it does just fine as a standalone. All the essential bits are covered early on.

This is a cozy mystery with a serious case of the paranormal. The story is well written and easy to read with an absolutely bizarre cast of characters to go along with it. The plot is a good one with plenty of mystery to be had and a tough case to solve. Oh, and plenty of humor as well which is all to the good. Overall, this was a great addition to the series and I look forward to checking out the next book.

Scatter and Click and sidekick Walter are at it again...problem is they just don't know what "it" is! A fun accounting of their latest supernatural investigation. Quite the "Hansel und Gretel" vibe along with some odd happenings at a finishing school. No lack of mystery or fun as the witch, the shifter, the ghoul, and their friend proceed to figure out what they need to know in their own bumbling style. And a tip to all you would be supernatural investigators out there... Don't shop at the Dollar Tree!

Scatter is freaking hilarious! I am enjoying this series immensely, it is hilarious. This is quite a fascinating mystery. Click is really getting a good exercise of her witchy skills! She is having to become much more creative and it has some amazing effects. The agency is getting noticed and more cases are coming in…paying ones! I have so much fun reading this series and I can’t wait to read the next book! Anne411
