Once again Lady Darriby-Jones has a murder in her home. This time it is a tramp who has been strangled in an empty locked room. How could that be possible. There is a new person in the house & (just because he’s new) he got arrested by the DCI. Meanwhile back at the mansion virtually everyone has “the runs”. Poor Lady D-J & Alfie have to take on everything including clearing up nasty messes. Once they are slowly recovering the local Sergeant gets sent to look closely at the room, & quite by chance a tunnel under the room is discovered. Going on in the background is the fact that a lunatic Lord who Lady D-J helped put into prison has escaped & will definitely be looking to get revenge. Another amusing read, easily read in one evening. Big Fat Hairy Man188 2

Lady Darriby-Jones is awakened to a puzzling murder. A man has been killed in a locked room and if she doesn't find out who did it and how it was done then a young member of her family may end up paying for it. This is an entertaining, intriguing, cozy mystery that held my attention.

Love Lady Darriby-Jones way of thinking and working out mysteries. While I really enjoyed the previous two books, this one seemed to drag a little bit. Really the title and the mystery connected with it. Looking forward to more of this series.

I received an ARC of this book and am leaving this review voluntarily. Martine312

Lady Darriby-Jones is confronted with the past when a man escapes from prison. No slugs! I think this story is the best one, better than the other two.
I received an advance review copy for free and I’m leaving a voluntary and honest review.

Easy reading cozy with a fun play on words. A mixed bag of characters and personalities makes this an interesting read.

I read this book as part of an advance reader team and am providing my honest opinion. Heart DeCoupeville249

The description of this book is just not very appealing, but when a quick glance at the cover screams YOU CAN'T HAVE A '57 BEL-AIR CONVERTIBLE IN 1920s WALES, well, it's just a total no go.

I don't know who CleanTales Publishing is, but their art department . . . . has problems.2 s Elainebowden281 1 followerRead
