This is the story of Hensley (Dragon Prince) and Maddie (human) rocky road to love. You are immediately grabbed in the opening chapter when you experience Hensley’s reaction to being rejected by his fated mate. You feel his pain and his reluctant acceptance to be without a mate.

Hensley meets Maddie has his cousin’s wedding when a radical group disrupts the celebration. Hensley gladly accepts the role of protector of Maddie (sister of the bride). The attraction grows between the two and he eventually asks her to move in with him. The road to love gets bumpier once she moves in. I will not give any spoilers as to what happens; however, get prepared for some drama.

I took me a while to decide if I d Maddie. Her first introduction in the story does not put her in a positive light; however, she did grow on me, and I felt you get to understand her more as the story progresses. Hensley was wonderful with her, and I d that he truly saw the real her.

Overall, this is a good dragon romance. The story will keep you entertained, and you will be cheering for Hensley and Maddie while simultaneously booing others. If want a sweet shifter romance with great interactions between the two main characters, this is the story for you.

Hensley is an Ice Prince who will be King one day. He is rejected by his mate and feels he will be alone. His cousin and his wife go on vacation before the baby is born and he stay and takes care of her sister Morgan. Hensley decides that he want Morgan to come and live with his at his place.

Hensley mother doesn't humans at all. When Morgan meets his mother, she is very rude. His mom tells Hensley she wants to get to know her, she tells her Morgan she will never do, and she should leave. Hensley notice that Morgan wants to leave but he wants her here.

I really enjoyed this book. Hensley is the prince of Ice Dragons and will one day be the king. After his fated mate rejected him, he thought he would be alone and not produce an heir.
When his cousin married a human girl, Hensley found himself looking after her sister and then found himself very drawn to her. Is it possible to have more than one fated mate, is what he questioned?
Regardless, he took her home to his estate. His mother hates humans with a passion and will go to great lengths to get rid of this human. The question is - how far will she go? Alexandra Morse8

I received and arc Copy of this book. I really d the storyline. It was sweet and you'll have alot of emotions. I feel there could have been more storyline leading up to the characters meeting, it seemed really abrupt in the beginning, but got better as i continued reading. The other thing i wanted to point out, is keeping a sense of time, it was really jard to figure out how long all of this took place over it seemed lacking in transitions and i kept having to catch myself and reread to figure out what was happening. Just ok

This reads one of those pay per chapter books on dreame. Maybe it was at one time? It has all the theoretical components of a good story, but all the moving parts feel mediocre. The writing and the pace are just off. I would be annoyed if I paid for it (I read it for free with KU). What I feel would make this book better is if the writing had more depth. The emotions are meant to be epic and deep, but the writing doesn't do it justice. I don't FEEL the emotions as they are written. For the spice the descriptive elements could be improved. Luc617 2

At a wedding ceremony, he meets Morgan, a human female and is attracted by her. She could be his true mate, if such a thing exists.

The author has created a love story that is to slow to get off the ground with a prologue that drags on and that this reader had to skip after the main topic, the rejection, was unveiled. The remainder of the book is well written and a very good read with the in-law friction, the race judgement and discrimination. I rate this book with 4 Stars. L KQ2,080 10

Crazy Mother

Human and dragon shifters don't generally mingle but when Hensley and Morgan are brought together by his cousins wedding the sparks between them fly. As their love for each other grows stronger, Hensley's mother will do everything to keep them apart, but the question is will she succeed? This was an adventurous read full of excitement.

This is a wonderful short story about the rejection of a fated mate, but then he found his Soulmate, overcoming the most difficult thing in their relationship... his mother.
A heartwarming story with a little bit of spice for bookworms that love human / shifter stories.
I hope we see more of the dragons.

This is a great addition to this series. We get to fall in love with a new couple while seeing some of our old friends from the first book. This book has twist that I didn't predict. I am loving this series and hope there will be a next one.

Good book

I so reading Hensley and Morgan. I really can’t stand entailed people who think they are better than others. I can say I enjoyed this one more than Winnie’s and Aryan’s story which was the 1st story. Danie Clark4
