Driftwood Key new beginnings

Just a reminder to read book 1 first (Secret in the Surf). Clara Palms truly has a knack for writing as she keeps hold of the reader’s attention throughout her books and this is no exception! Ms Palms creates hills and valleys with hairpin turns with ease in her stories. I enjoy every minute reading her books.

Jess Steele continues to be a mother extraordinaire to her three daughters and pregnant niece. She knows their individual personalities and helps them through crises. Jess works through her own insecurities at the same time about romance in her life. This is truly a clean read which also makes it enjoyable. Be prepared for a good, surprise-filled experience in reading. I am looking forward to the last in the series Promises in the Sand.

Each book gets better and better. Jess, her daughters, her niece and their extended family have touched my heart in so many ways. This book continues from the first and follows them as they return to Driftwood Key. Jess is continuing to deal with the loss of her husband and the life she once had. Driftwood Key is where she sees rebuilding a life for herself and her girls. Unexpected visitors in the form of Liberty’s husband and Justine’s father has this story taking a few twists. As well as realizing she had deep feelings for Clint. When she visits her mother’s gravesite she finds another person to add to their family mix. I laughed, cried and was so happy for Jess and her family. What happens next with a hurricane looming? You won’t want to miss this book or the next! 5+ stars. 1 Shana W278 5

This story is sweet and sentimental. It's the second book in a series of 3 books that should definitely be read in order. I don't want to give anything away, so all I can say is that secrets are revealed, and bonds between people are formed and broken. All of the characters come to important realizations about themselves. All of this takes place in the beautiful setting of Driftwood Key. The book is well written and it has such an intriguing plot that I couldn't stop reading. I'm impatient to read the finale to see how things are wrapped up.

 ?This is the second book in the Driftwood Key Beach Reads and it was an entertaining read. The writing was descriptive, and I could easily picture myself there as I read Memories In Sea Glass.

This is Liberty and Chase’s story and it ticked all the boxes for me. Not only was it heartwarming but also heartbreaking with a good balance. ?
 This was an emotional read and I loved the relationship that Jess has with her children and niece.

Beautiful continuation of the first book. I'm very eager for the next. Such a wonderful story of Jess and her 3 beautiful daughters. They have had so many hardships but are learning and growing together through it all. I love this author. There is always clean, romantic and sweet story lines and I have cried all through this book feeling the characters' emotions.1 Marea182 2

Jessica’s life had come crashing down hard and suddenly. After discovering why her husband had left her and their daughters, she was finally being able to put it all to rest. One thing she had realized when she went back home was that it wasn’t home anymore. Driftwood Key was really where she belonged and so did her youngest Glory.

This book in the series is more about Liberty, her husband Chase and why she ran away from him and the life they had together. Will Chase showing up make her realize that she needs to give him the true reason why. Can their love prevail? But it is also about Anthem and her singing being discovered. Anthem is also trying to fix the relationship she had before with Glory. Speaking of which she is in here too. She is realizing how wrong she was in the way she had treated others back in their hometown, having her first crush/relationship and her first heart break. Justine the niece is in there as well and her getting closer to the end of the pregnancy.

This is the second novel in the series about Jessica Steele, her 3 daughters, 1 niece and their new adventures. This book isn’t one that is stand alone, you will have to read the 1st one in order to understand everything that is happening. This is a great clean story which truly shows you that even though a family can seem perfect to everyone, on the inside it can be a pure chaotic mess. Clara Palms has another outstanding book and I can’t wait to see where the next one will take us. Because honestly we all want to know now…. Whose the daddy!!!

Memories in the Sea Glass is book 2 in a connected series, Please read Secrets in the Surf first. Book 2 takes up right where we left off Jess, her girls and her pregnant niece. Life hasn’t been easy on any of them. They are all still accepting life after Jess’s husband and the girl’s father has left them without a word and of course each of the 3 girls is also struggling with their own personal issues. Moving to Driftwood Key for the summer seems to help them all. Especially after reuniting with Jess’s former foster family. In book 2 we learn how each is dealing with the news of why their husband/father left them. We also learn secret crushes - some new, some old and seem to come out of the middle of nowhere. As we read along, we learn secrets, feel heartaches, feel the excitement of new friends and budding love. We witness a small town full of love and help for one another.

This is an amazing, sweet, small town romantic romance that will leave you breathless, at least it did for this reader. It also left me on pins and needles for book 3 of the series. Not that it ended on a cliffe per say, but it left me wondering what in the world was going to happen in the coming weeks for Jess and her girls.

Memories in Sea Glass is a wonderful read. Book 2 and needs to be read in order. This is the continuation of Jess and her daughters journey through the life changes they are all facing. Jess is so strong as she continues to grow closer to her former foster family and finding her new home in Driftwood Key Beach. I love how close she is becoming with her daughters and her niece. You feel that underlying attraction build between her and Clint. Liberty finally faces what she has been dealing with and I just love the support her husband gives her. Glory is growing more and more into herself as Jess's youngest daughter. And Anthem is shining with her music. There is still a feeling that Anthem is holding something back. I love how close everyone is becoming. I could not put this down. I'm so in love with this series. I cannot wait to see where the journey of Jess and her daughters ends up. This is the second book in the Driftwood Key Beach Reads series, and it picks up where book one left off. It is not a standalone. Jess is making a new life for herself and her youngest daughter while her niece and other two daughters come to visit for the summer. It seems as if the beach air does wonders for the entire family. The author does a stellar job showcasing the growth of each member as they deal with their emotional issues. One feels as if they are right alongside these characters as the storyline progresses. Upon completion, you will feel the pangs in your heart that fills you with joy and it gives one pause to contemplate visiting this magical small town. The second book in this series by Clara Palms, Memories in Sea Glass, is simply amazing. The wonderful things this book has to offer are beyond words. Clara writes with such emotion in her works. The love and guidance that Jess bestows upon her daughters and niece is quite remarkable. You really want to be a part of this family, or at the very least, the community, since the individuals are so devoted to one another. I can't stop grinning at Chase and Liberty's story since it starts off so heartbreaking but ends up being so sweet & romantic. The unexpected ending is simply incredible. This is the second book in this impressive series, and Jess’s journey continues with her three daughter and pregnant niece and finding a home and sense of belonging in Driftwood Key after her husband left her.
This story concentrated more on Liberty and Chase, and the reasons she ran from him and their life.
This is a beautifully written story which is an action packed, emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, heartbreak, secrets, insecurities, engaging and realistic characters, challenges, surprises, romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, twisted, unpredictable, and heartwarming captivating page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I’m loving my visits to Driftwood Key and the second book in the series, Memories in Sea Glass is as good if not better than the first book.
This is Liberty and Chase’s emotional journey and it’s a captivating tale that will break your heart before putting it back together again.
There are twists and turns you don’t see coming in this emotional roller coaster and it’s a beautifully written love story with wonderful characters. Oh my goodness, I just couldn’t stop reading. This book is so awesome. I love how each of these women continues to grow and get past their grief and hurt. Such a great discovery for Jess at the end.
I really can’t wait for the next book. I want to continue this journey with them. The emotional impact is immense and you will feel it all with the characters.
