Emma is the new masseuse for the hockey team. She is constantly being hit on by Durand & Parker. She entertains it to an extent, but little does she know that they made a bet about who would be able to bed her first before playoffs. Does she find out? If she does, what happens?

Caleb is one she doesn't see coming. He is everything and more. The only issue is that he is dating the daughter of the owner of the hockey team. It started as a way to get onto the team, but it turns out he enjoyed her company. For a while before Emma's arrival, he started realizing that Jess isn't his lifelong partner, but he is worried that if he ends it that she will talk to her dad into firing him. Does he do what he desires & break up with Jess, or does he stay? If he leaves, how far is Jess willing to go?

If you want the answers, read this book. Truly, you will not be disappointed.

It was distracting to read a book supposedly set in PNW and have it be subtly British in the phrasing the characters used. It bugs me, too, that nobody ever calls out the main antagonist for being racist. Being a spoiled 19 year old isn't an excuse for using hateful language towards AAPI people.

I do that there is a HEA, and there appears to be growth from the MMC. He owns that he's a jerk, made a hurtful choice, and tries to be a better human. The FMC is a pretty decent young woman and makes the story worth it.

I'll be honest, if it wasn't an ARC, I would have DNF at the beginning due to my strong ick feelings of the MMC, nearly 30 years old, dating and using a literal teenager. Not something I realized was part of the plot when I chose the book.1 Aisling 31

Caleb is the best goal scorer on his hockey team.

Emma, along with her father, have just joined the team as their masseuse.

Sparks fly between Emma and Caleb, but there's a problem. Not only does Caleb have a girlfriend but said girlfriend is also the owner of the hockey team's daughter.

The side characters are fun and cause drama galore only adding to the enjoyment of this book.
